Surprisingly they were in stock at bass pro online. Shipped right in. Definitely sounds like burrs if they aren't feeding. A drill bit or maybe even a brass bore brush on a drill will probably do the trick. If u get it figured out make sure to let us all know!
Just got one this weekend. Been loading on my hornady for years and didnt even know it existed! The tube did have burs where the pin goes from being drilled. I just used a drill bit into the end of the tube and cleaned it up. Slide right down now. Not sure about your alignment issue. It lined up...
Alright VA guys. I'm looking at a possible move to the Richmond area. Definitely not Richmond City but outlying areas. The job I'm being offered is in Ashland. Ive already looked in the Mechanicsville and Ashland areas. Mechanicsville has great schools but is a little crowded for me. Saw some...
Picked one up at an auction last night. Was wondering if I got a good deal. Not a scratch on it. Got it home and broke it down. Doesn't look like its had one shell through it. Guess I did Ok. Paid $410 for it. All the chokes, wrench, and original paperwork with it too.
I have one in 7 mm Rem Mag. Great rifle. Top it with good glass and you won't be disappointed. You'll pry have to find someone to order you one. That's what I did. The only one I've ever seen in a store was at a Cabelas once. Thats when I decided I had to have one.
Shockwaves only out of my CVA. Powerbelts won't hold any kind of accuracy out of it. I imagine similar sabot loads from a different manufacturer would perform close to the Shockwaves. Not tried some of the new ones out there yet.
I cant imagine being hit by a broadhead. Thats a whole other kinda hurt right there.
When in doubt I wear an orange hat when on the ground, also a green or red light at dusk and dawn when its dark. Better be safe than shanked.
Be safe out there!
