Popped on today to ask this specifically... is there anything official on this?
Also I've just been informed that ar lowers can be bought. Can dealers sell complete HBAR rifles as well now? (Sorry if this has been asked a bunch)
Find a dealer who will do an xfer for a reasonable price. Then go to glocktalk.com firearms listings.
Here's a G34 with night sights high-caps for that price (although FTF)
Like new Glock 34 with only 50 rounds fired. The gun comes with brand new Ameriglo night sights. Also, comes with 3-17...
Love my Glocks. :)
Not sure why you need +P in .45- isn't .45 supposed to knock a guy off his feet and into the next county all by itself? :D Plus if the recoil messes you up that bad, I'd take a little less power in favor of more control any day.
I can deal with jerks (up to a point) if the price is right. Atlantic guns in Rockville is actually fairly nice people from my dealings with them, but everything is about 20-50% too high. Worst example I can think of though is Gilbert's FFL xfer fees used to be $40, then $100, now the last...
I don't think FFLs are bound by the 30 day thing, I can't imagine that the gun stores can only buy 1 pistol per 30. Plus if it is for individual use then you have your collectors letter. They are just being ignorant.
Factory G35 and G17 for the Mrs.- might put the extended mag release on the 17 'cause she has problems getting to it, her hands are a bit small.
Isn't the NY trigger 8 pounds??
There was a thread on I think ar15.com hometown forum about this, some dealers try to charge sales tax on the gun but they should probably on charge it on their fee. State police issued an unclear message and some dealers are charging sales tax on a sale they didn't make.
