Driving home yesterday close to I-95 saw a guy that appeared to be beating the heck out of the guardrail. Turns out he was "harvesting" the horns off of a car-strike buck.....but he was just using a standard hammer. LOL This morning the deer was still there, looking like a doe.
With the assistance of an MDS member, an individual was seen throwing the purse off of the bridge into the reservoir on Rt 32...we are in the process of getting permission to "salvage" the purse from the water.
My daughter has seen the vehicle (minus the wood boards) headed north on 32 near...
As far as the license plate….the camera angle along with the crappy video system prevented getting a good image of the plate…..they did hit the "stop sign" in the parking lot for take-out (figure they were a tad bit Impared"), yes it was female driving.
The frame rate for the system is 7...
Thanks for all the inputs.... her purse was hidden behind other items at the counter so it wasn't in plain sight. Looking at the video it looks like he was "rummaging" under the counter and trying to open the cash register. The video from the restaurant isn't good enough to read the plates, in...
Folks, be on the lookout for this truck and punk !! He stole my daughters purse while at work at "Glory Days Grill" in Eldersburg. He brazenly went behind the counter and stole it while she was getting customers food ready. Sorry about the picture quality, the security system they have isn't...
Does anyone use one of the hunting cams that allow you to film the hunt from your point of view or on a weapon? Not looking for another trail cam and I've already got a GoPro. The GoPro seems to make everything at a distance the size of a postage stamp, so I'm looking for something different.
The documentary "Alone in the Wilderness" is a good outdoor survival flick. It depicts the efforts of Dick Proenneke who, in the late 1960s, built his own cabin in the wilderness of Alaska.
For what it's worth…..in the off-season/prep stage I spray-paint my deer stands (both climbers and ladder) with the spray in truck bed stuff. It provides a matt finish, makes them more water resistant, muffles some of the noise and provides additional traction/grip.
Can't say for certain. When the bear was dressed and skinned there was a wound (fresh) right behind the front leg. Further skinning and dressing disclosed the arrow tip with the broad blades non-deployed. Perhaps a shot too far, not enough energy to deploy the blades ? Upon removal the broad...
Wilcam47, it wasn't a miss with the G5 in fact had the blades deployed it would've been a nice double lung hit. My point was to make certain your gear and skills are sharp (pun intended) and working properly. I agree, a person can miss just as easily with a firearm as they can with a bow, dart...
Saw firsthand an incident where a bear was harvested with a firearm that had a wound in it's midsection. While dressing out the bear a mechanical broad head (G5) was discovered that didn't deploy the blades properly and just wounded the animal. There are good and bad options for both fixed and...
 I second that for public land. Last year while in my stand I had some goof actually place traps near my stand…..when confronted, he stated he wasn't hunting deer so it didn't matter.
Very nice display of your respect for nature. You will be rewarded !! I just wish others had your ethics, lately I've heard others say "if it's brown…it's down", not a good outlook for the future of hunting sports.
The full length videos are available at the library for checkout. These are very good videos, the quality isn't there by today's standards but then again it was probably made from an 8mm camera balanced on a stump. You have to respect this guys resourcefulness and grit. Not too many of these...
