      new to archery

      Recurves are great but at 45lbs it's a bit light for whitetail. The biggest issue is going to be distance, I can shoot 40 yards all day with a compound and kill deer, arrow is moving at close to 280fps.....with a recurve set at 45lbs, mich more than 10-15 yards deer will jump the string all day...

      What's more crazy is selling of illegal guns is probation - 2 years! WTF! Increase the punishment for illegal selling of guns for anybody and for a cop, he should forfeit all pensions and be remanded for life. Justice was NOT served.
