      Troubled T53

Thanks all for the suggestions. Unfortunately I bought it months ago so a return is not in the cards. I am going to go the small file route and then polish it to ensure it's smooth. If that fails, I will be looking for another one.

      Troubled T53

First attempt. The spot circled is around the ejector. Have a feeling it may have been dry fired a few many times. This was one of my 1st C&R purchases and didn't really have anything to compare the chamber to. But clearly there is something wrong with this one.

      Troubled T53

Took my T53 to the range a few weeks back after a pretty thorough cleaning(but not really looking at the chamber close enough). Went to chamber a round and it would not do so. Finally got around to looking at it close and noticed a small dent on the side of the chamber, see pic below. The...

      K31's at AIM

Yes, looked up the serial and there was a "48" stamped on the butt. So both the serial and the number lead me to believe it is from 1948.

      K31's at AIM

Received my K-31 today from AIM. Very nice rifle. All matching and in great condition. Best part about it, not soaked in cosmoline. My first Swiss rifle and probably will not be the last. Was not lucky enough though to find a troop tag. Appears this one is from 1948.

The 80% Poly Lower movement has begun!

Received my refund in the mail today. Seems they are some good guys just facing some production issues. Hopefully it works out for them soon.

The 80% Poly Lower movement has begun!

Some sort of communication from them would be great, but nothing. Seems like time for a refund and to implement plan B. Any ideas where to get a lower locally w/ 8 day release? Will be at the show in Howard County tomorrow, so hopefully I will luck out there.

$125 Yugo Tokarevs. Grab em up! Go Go Go!!!

Got mine this evening. Look great, no rust and all matching. Bought 2 and received 5 magazines, the 4 new ones and what looks to be an original with the ring on the bottom. However, one is missing the safety and who the hell needs that anyway.

Wideners Not Selling to MD C&Rs

What happened? They have been ok in the past and my latest purchase seems to have gone through.

$125 Yugo Tokarevs. Grab em up! Go Go Go!!!

These are back at $99. Probably a little rougher than the first batch but cheap enough to roll the dice.

They went up right after the CZ82s.

Hesitated and missed it. Looks like they may be cleaning out the back room. Maybe they will have some more goodies tomorrow.

      Widener's - CZ82 - In Stock - $189

Why refinish? When you pass the thing down you can tell stories of all the times you had to pull it out of your holster.

      Widener's - CZ82 - In Stock - $189

That's what I thought but why would they post a left handed model? Is there something different in their "CZ82L" model?

Lets talk about the new IO imported Sino-Albanian-Soviets in here vs. CAI ones....

Be interested to see if there are any other markings once I pull it all apart. The one I got from Widener's a few months back was littered with markings. This one has no other obvious markings, other than the serial.

Received my SKS from Classic this evening. 5 digit serial, no prefix, no arsenal marks, all matching (including stock), dark wood and in very good condition. More pictures coming after the cleanup.
