I'm having a hard time finding a DC CCW renewal class advertised. Before I randomly start contacting the trainers listed on the DC police web site I was wondering if anybody here has any recommendations?

I've been to a couple of the Whitman Coin & Collectibles Expos that occur there frequently. There was no physical screening. But I don't see how that would be practical at a coin show.
I've read through this thread and looked at the registration links but still have so many questions.
Does completing the instructor class give me QHIC status?
Is there periodic refresher training required to maintain that status?
If so, what are the training intervals and time...
You have to take a DC approved class with a DC approved instructor. The live fire qualification form for MD and DC are different. However, the Maryland curriculum is substantially the same as DC so if you are smart you should take a single class that teaches both and provides the proper forms...
I believe the first registration is free if you are also getting a carry permit. And it is not too expensive so you might as well register whatever you may want to carry.
