      Custom CNC Grips

Built some custom design grips on the CNC for a friend. These are for a S&W Victory 22LR target pistol. Apparently wood grips aren't available. Pictures are as from the CNC without any finish yet. John C

      Fun at Hap Baker

Went to Hap Baker today. Sighted in my pre-October AR by me and a friend slowly putting 120 rounds through it - 5 at a time. Beautiful weather. Just a few people there and the typical friendly helpful RSOs. Got the azmith right but we couldn't figure out how to do the elevation of the Mag-Pul...

In an effort to document the build before 1 Oct I took pictures of the weapon and went to the UPS store in Westminster to get a notary to sign the paper on which I had printed the pictures of the finished gun and lower. The notary...

      New RIA 1911 45

Brownstone released my RIA TAC 45 early and today I took it to Hap Baker to try it and me out. My first handgun in 25 years. 42 rounds and no problems (needed to save 8). Groups are tight left and right but less so vertical. Maybe my grip is not so good? Of course I can't see the target and...
