Yeah I think magnification is a must especially if you are stretching it out to 100yrds. I have a red dot on my S&W 22a pistol and I'm good for about 50yrds after that its kinda point and shoot and hope it hits where you're trying to aim.
Can't go wrong with a combo deal, either a Remington 870 or one of the Mossberg deals they offer several. With both a slug barrel and a field barrel there's not much you can't use the gun for. And with a smooth bore slug barrel you could use it for home defense if need be.
I've noticed the same thing, high prices. I think I'll wait it out and get the "liquidators"price when they go out of business and have to move the shit.:innocent0
Damn.. I thought I had it bad! You know they have a 5 step program for this.. Great collection..
I would take the ammo you were using in the first half of the first video and throw it right in the trash.
I agree with the other two posters, the Nikon P-22 is an awesome scope for the 15-22. I have the 2x7x32 with the Nikoplex reticle and the extra turrets and the Nikon P series AR scope mounts.
I went with the Nikoplex reticle because I also have the ProStaff Rimfire 3x9x40 with the BDC 150...
