Recommended Scope for a MP15-22?

Just picked up a new MP15-22 a week or so ago, and am anxious to get to the range with it. Any suggestions for a scope? I plan to use it primarily for target shooting. Thank you for your help!

Thats the consensus on my recently started thread. I'm a "Buy once, cry once" kinda guy, I'm taking a serious look at the Nikons this week.

I love mine. Get the Nikon p series mounts if you get one,solid set up.

For the money nikon is hard to beat. You didn't mention a price range or distance you would be shootong though.

I've got a BSA sweet 22 on backorder but its for a bolt gun...I'd look Nikon for a semi

A nice option is the Nikon P-223 3x32 BDC. Simple design. Easy to use.

The reticle is optimized for .223, but it's a perfect transition optic for dual-use on a 5.56mm AR.

I'm in a similar pickle. I need optics for my 22/45 and my 15-22. My main use would be plinking and casual target work. . I'm undecided as to an Aimpoint type clone (Strikefre), C-more type "holosight" (Mueller Quick Shot, ATN Ultra Sight, TruGlo open) , or a Mini dot (Bushnell TRS25, TNVC RDP II, or Burris FF). This is obviously not a SHTF gun, but I do want something that's quality but not too expensive. I'm leaning towards a reflex style. I have an Aimpoint CompM on my AR, but I think an Aimpoint clone might be a little "dark" for the indoor range I shoot my .22s at. Thoughts? I want something clear and fast.
