      What guns would you take on an expedition to Alaska?

      Of what I own, I'm liking my Ruger BH .41 & Remington 700 in .30-06. I think that would cover most things. I could maybe go light and S&W mountain gun .357 & 10/22 Currently I am hunting for a Marlin 1895.

      I love my Ruger SR1911 and have always enjoyed the Springfields. No experience with the Remington. I can only recommend buying all three.

      What's up with UPS

      Glad I usually don't work 7pm - 5am. Though today is 0650 start so lets see 0645 plus 14 is off by 2045. Figure they are gonna clip us by an hour so 1945. Gives me 12 hrs for today, but really who knows how thing will pan out when the snow starts.

      I find it simple, start minus 5min plus 14 hrs is when you're off. If you plan on being of Street 8 or 9 hours you are going to be heartbroken.

      FDX routes most MEM, EWR and Indy; UPS routes most via SDF and uses intermodal truck/rail. Best way to know is to ship for overnight delivery then you have a chance of knowing what hubs will pkg wil use.

      Full shelves of ammo at Walmart.

      My brother called me this morning. Just letting me know the racks at the Walmart had NINE AR-15s! and plenty of ammo. Unfortunately this Walmart is in North Carolina. I have only seen the two carousel display, never racks.

      Years ago my wife to be mentioned something about a no gun something or other. When she came down home and saw women carried. Well it took a bit, but my wife she prefers have carry her own.
