I can almost guarantee you that we won't be able to get a useable TV signal at that location - it's on low ground surrounded by hills (I used to live really close by and the only channels we'll be able to get are channels 8 and 43, neither of which will be carrying the game). A radio however...
I'll bring my 870HD. It's an older model with all metal parts. Beware, it kicks like a mule with any magnum load, but if you're game it will handle up to 3" magnums. :D I usually keep it loaded with Federal Reduced Recoil 2 3/4" 00 buck and slugs (LE loads).
I'll bring both of them for sure. I'm pretty sure the FAL will need to be zeroed, but that takes only a few minutes.:D I'll bring a decent spotting scope to help that along...
I'll try and whip up a stand or two, and also I can bring some guns that maybe some people would like to try out such as a FAL, a couple of AK's, various AR's, an M1A, 870 Police shotgun, Mosey, etc. Pistol wise I can bring a Para-Ordnance 14 shot 1911, an HK USP with a silencer, Glock 30, and a...
Yeah, but I still have no intention of registering ANYTHING with MSP. I moved to Pa to avoid just this sort of thing. If Maryland was a normal state, I could simply file my forms 5320.20 with the BATFE and bring them along.
Yep, the last time I was going to come to an MG shoot in MD, I checked with MSP and found out that I would have to register my stuff with Maryland, which wouldn't be possible since I'm not a Maryland resident (as if I would have been willing to register them with MSP anyway....). So the response...
Google "bulletfest". Unfortunately it isn't happening this year due to lack of a safe location, but it has been one of the largest MG shoots in the country for a few years running. Unlike Knob Creek, there is no waiting list for shooting positions. Hopefully they'll get back on track next year...
AR15's, AK's FAL, M1A, AR10, various other rifles, shotguns, and pistols, and a couple of NFA toys (M16 and an Uzi carbine).
The last time I was at the Delta show I had a Remington 870HD follow me home unexpectedly.:innocent0 That was over 10 years ago though...
Up until 2007, I lived in Fawn Grove on Hunt Club Road. I could see the fire house from my back deck.:D Now I'm a little further to the west just north of Norrisville Md., but still within a few hundred yards of the state line.
I haven't been to a gun show in years. I was lucky enough to...
Granted I'm only a few hundred yards north of the border....;) I could have sworn I was already a member of this forum, but apparently not (or I've forgotten what I had for a user id). Some of you may know me from other gun boards, or even from area shoots. This is my user name pretty much...
