      Tumbler Media Question

      I recently changed over from corn cob to walnut media. In my opinion, the walnut does clean a bit better. However, it appears to be more "dusty". In fact, I have to wipe the brass off after tumbling. Is this normal? On a related note, I can see that there is some amount of media residue...

      I was happy to see 22LR at a gun show last weekend. CCI SV bricks for $45. At .09 per round that is not too bad. The really surprising part was that there was still some there on Sunday.

      We always start the second day on sighter squares. It is very common for the students to "make improvements" to the rifles between the 2 days. :)

      I have a personal bias to the M1 carbine. All in all, a semi will be easier than a bolt but either will work.
