      hmm, I think the Marine Corps needs to jump on the band wagon that the Army has created and host a 3-gun comp of their own at Quantico. Wish I knew people in high places... maybe a petition to someone in charge of the recruiting MOS.. might work.

      I know interest has to be high, but I could only find 2 matches in our area. I wish I had the resources to start one. Maybe we need to show there is interest in our area to get someone to have more then 2 a year.

      Can we change the subject. It's their business, they can run it how they like. Why do they need to notify anyone of anything, and so what if they need to touch up a wall or assemble a display case. It's a place to shoot. I would go there if all they had was 5 Gal buckets and cardboard boxes...

      Gun Connection has the 700 SPS tactical .308 20" and the 700 SPS Varmint .308 26"... I bought me a 700 SPS Varmint .308, it's got the heavy barrel so one day I'll get a can for it :) next upgrade will be optics then hopefully a nice sniper stock.

      I didn't read everyones posts, but I will say stuff like this is almost never random. It's a drug deal gone bad or someone who deals drugs getting robbed. I don't know the details but I am sure it's what happened here based on the lack of info.
