Just a comparison between MD and PA permits (for me):

    MD
Submit to approved - 67 days
Submit to card in hand - 73 days
    Application fee - $75
    LiveScan fee - $52
    Training exempt (saved $100-300?)
    Total cost - $127
    Permit valid - 2 years, 10 months
    --------------------------------------
    PA
Submit to approved - 24 hours
Submit to card in hand - 7 days (pick up Thursday)
    Permit fee - $25
    No fingerprints required
    Total cost - $25
    Permit valid - 5 years

    York County

You had to go into York right? Can’t do it online?

Geez, I guess 2 months to get NICS is the new norm, my app was accepted 9/2 and still no NICS.
All the of the guys that acted fast and scheduled their classes in july- early aug knew this would happen.

I had gotten my nics at 44 days and that was considered a long a$$ time then because guys 2 weeks prior were getting them at 30 days.

from accepted to approved was 56 days. There was a time where guys got approved in 20-30 days.

So, as I posted in the big thread, I’m an 8/24 accepted who just got approved today.

From submission to approval was 67 days
From accepted to approval was 62 days
From NICS to approval was 4 days

Considering the tens of thousands of new applications they’ve gotten since Bruen, I guess 62 days isn’t too bad.

I’m a Delaware resident with permits in DE, PA, UT and now MD. I also applied to NJ, whose application process is wildly archaic, about 2 weeks ago. I can only (foolishly) hope that their processing time is even close to MD’s, but realistically I’m not expecting anything before January there.

Can’t speak to York. Adams County is a pleasant drive from Westminster. I parked on the street in front of the Courthouse. In and out in 10 minutes
