Yes he did. But I believe he didn’t think he had it after today’s conversation. He sent in the background check in March and it was placed in that pile of holding/waiting. So he and I can’t go any further. He gave me a number for the owner to call at FBI NICS so we’ll see how that goes.

Another thing to add. My customer has never called wondering what was up. First time we have talked about it was today to get him the number for the fbi

Ordered 9/23/21, stamp check cashed 11/1/21, approved 10/12/22. Called by store on 10/19/22 for pickup.

Next one was e-form so we'll see bit womt hold my breath for a faster process.

I called the owner a month ago and he was told it’s in process. I told him it’s way out of the normal range and he should climb higher.
He’s really chill about the whole thing. I’d be loosing my chit.

May 31st for my latest eform 4 individual thru SilencerShop. My first eform 4 came in well over the 90 day “promise”, but it was only like 120 or so days, still far better than the year+ the paper forms are backlogged. I’m at 143 days at this point, good thing I have all the cans I “need” and this one was just a celebratory “one more for the road” purchase after my last 3 came thru. I can wait them out. Probably.

Damn, you 400+ guys should get hats or something made up, that’s downright inhumane. I’m done myself, I just went one too many, I should’ve cut my “losses” after I picked up my last ones. The big sale and free tax stamp from SilencerShop was too good to pass up at the time, or so I thought. My mistake, I caused myself this grief, and won’t be doing this again. If eforms ever establish a real pattern of sub-90 day turnaround I’d consider it, but not until then.

The official wait times finally got updated on Oct 1...they hadn't been updated since June...but that's the Boyz Against Things Fun and Exciting for you. They say 12mo for Form 4's, 180 days for eForm 4s. I'm going to test their 60 days on eForm 1's here shortly. I'm just waiting for the cans so I can use a "recent approval #" to lessen the paperwork burden.

Me Too! I'm going to wait a few months before trying the E form system. Hopefully it will be down to 90 days by then.
