Old School Softball Gun, Final Chapter (?)
Okay, so I took it down again because things didn’t feel quite right. A high spot on left side of barrel hood. Tuner backed off slightly since the barrel is “hard fit” (not battered into submission fit). Relieved the bushing/barrel clearance with a few twists of cloth and Rem bore cleaner. Slide stop shows good lug contact. Trigger pull reset to 3 pounds 10 ounces...rules minimum plus two. Trigger pull reset to 3 pounds 10 ounces...rules minimum plus two. Shot it off my shooting bag again, forearms only on the bag. Shot the five shot group with the dollar bill. Works out to about 1.5-1.6” center to center. Shot a second five shots (not shown) dropped two a little low, one on top of the other to the red. A little too much light under the bull. Those were the shooter.
I then fired 5 more shots on the same target standing slow fire at 25 yards. The high and lower right shots were called fliers. Weak grip on the high and sight wander on the lower right...Magnumite blew it.
I think its done. Thanks for reading.
