I have found there is a pattern when talking to the Moms , and I have talked to a few over the years . They always start off with " my husband or father or someone in the family own guns" or grew up around guns . It is always the same talk . And they don't hate guns just want "common sense gun laws" it happened yesterday

We actually had two long form video interviews yesterday and I was honestly shocked that they both hung in there for that long. The first one was easier to speak with, the second had an annoying habit of every time we used a non firearm analogy she would say "there you go getting off track again".

I think I saw the second one. Yet she used speeding as an analogy. I found it useful to better understand how their side views these issues. I'll make sure to check out the other one.

I was pretty impressed with the one who remained calm while Jeff was explaining the traditional term "well regulated".
She wasn't in agreement, but was open to civilized debate.

Great post! Behavior like I captured on video outside of the Senate Committee room isn't welcome or helpful.

    Far beyond two fingers.

The Framers actually killed wannabe tyrants. Shooting the bird is small potatoes......

With their successes in years past, I'm sure they thought all they had to do is wave their collective arms in the air and the MGA would give them what they wanted. I mean lets face it, it's almost fact. I'm glad to see them rush out in a huff.

The video of the MDA loon making a scene and calling for the Police. Not the 2 finger salute. I should clarify, it is helpful for us, but that kind of behavior from them is what is being referenced in this thread.

OOOOH, those...the ones where I was furiously chewing my gum! I didn't map the description with the event. Yeah, come to think of it, their behavior was dramatic.

I thought she was going to start screaming! It was bad enough that she was making accusations of "touching". I saw her once or twice after in the weeks following. I sat a couple seats over from her in the gallery. She did not make eye contact. The pearls from yesterday may have changed that. Hindsight.

To paraphrase HRC, what difference does it make? Those Liberal Loons are still going to vote straight party line in the next election anyways. It doesn't matter one iota how the politicians vote now, they WILL get an automatic vote from these groups in the next general election. They know it, so these are empty "threats"...

Next, you are going to be screaming that I should be banned, because I am a troll and an emasculated husband of one of the "Moms".

    Let It Go

Are you serious? Your wife is in Moms Demand Action?

    This explains a lot.

I like to use this analogy when they start talking about speeding and such.

Blaming a gun for murder is like blaming a car for hit and run.

I typically assume that that's a pack of lies and proceed from there. There is a time and place for everything, but if they are extremely rude or disrespectful to me they usually find themselves talking at where I used to be.

I will not be dragged into an argument against my will; I've raised teenagers and I'm still married.
