Local shop had it and the rare Schwarzlose , i made a package deal on them.

Awesome finds, you have certainly found some great ones recently! If you happen to ever decide to part with that Unique 16 please let me know, I’m always keeping my eyes open for one.

Thanks for that great k- 11 the other day. I brought home 4 more rifles yesterday . Two of them are simple fix project guns. However one of them today got the better of me when they screw would not come undone and I was putting all my might into it. The screwdriver head twisted and slipped off the screw and went through my other thumb that was holding the barrel assembly on my bench.. Luckily I was able to get it to stop bleeding long enough to throw some peroxide on it and super glue it back together. Gave it a few minutes and got back to work on the rifle. Now the action sits in the stock the way it should. And fires the way it should when the action is tight in the stock. Here is three of the 4.
What are those sears lever actions going for?

Also picked these up in the last two weeks

^ Whoah where did you find that Unique 16?!?! That’s one on my WWII bucket list, they very rarely surface!

Thanks for identifying the model. Didn't know what it was, but it had lines that were evocative of the very attractive (to me) Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless.

Not C&R but I have been craving an under folder for a while.

Say hello to my MDSP "not banned" little friend. 84S1 with all factory accessories except its missing the cleaning rod. Paid more than I would have liked but still a fair price. Would have preferred a 56S underfolder but in todays environment you take what you can get.

Wanted to mention that this is apparently not a model 16 but rather the model 15 as it holds 6 not 7. I wanted to wait until i got it to the range to make sure i just didnt have a shorter mag and it wasnt going to work but it worked perfect and shot very well.

Thanks I am a little annoyed I didn't notice the missing cleaning rod. No issue on the mag situation have that handled. Not sure if these use the same rod as a 7.62 might take some scrounging to come up with the right Norinco item. I know PolytechUSA still sells new AKM rods.

That's sweet. These are 7.62x39 caliber too? What mags do they take?

Ouch. Of course I was hoping there was an AK-47 work around (for a rifle in MD) that I didn't know about. But great looking gun. Hope you luck out on the mag pricing.

Already have it covered, plenty for this rifle and they are steel with good springs they will outlast the gun. Your only workarounds for a Kalashnikov type action are basically 5.45 and 5.56 I have those just didn't have the underfolder. I have some pre FSA stuff too. Gotta love that classic "Red Dawn" chi-com look.

There's a guy on the P.38 forum that's been looking for an original mag for a Unique 15 for a year and a half.
Don't lose it or drop it!! :)

The 15 and 16 were very similar so maybe you do have a 15 mag in it? Your pistol itself is without a doubt a 16 based on the location of serial number, grip style, and of course the waffenamt. Glad to hear it shoots well too!

Good to know, several sources on the internet said that the model 15 and 16 we're identical other than the magazine.

You’re correct they’re nearly identical in a lot of ways, couple differences to help tell them apart though. For reference here’s a 15:

    https://pre98.com/shop/gone-but-not...-ww2-vet-bringback-extremely-rare-in-the-u-s/

Design on the grips panels is different, serial number of the 15 is center-frame above the trigger, and there aren’t any 15s that are waffenamt marked (at least to my knowledge). Believe most of the waffenamt marked 16s fall into the 25000-28000 serial number range based on a couple references online.
