    Mopar, I owe you a beer brother:party29:

It's near intolerable to sit there and politely repeat our talking points till the wee hours knowing most of the committee could care less. Sometimes it's good to wake the F-ers up a bit.

Folks... Here is the situation, we have some momentum. The question is do we squander it with deflating rhetoric or do we build upon it? I say we build upon it. It's like warfare, it's an art. There are things here we should document and used again. Filling the seat is a good one. Getting people to go is another good one, because if we make MDA feel uneasy then we need to keep it up. It would be nice to network with the Sheriff Association in the state. This is way NRA, GOA, MSI, PP and other are important. If the dems can have this many bills, why can we do the same?

Yes, this was very well done.

The anti social media machine had to scramble and likely make lemonade using a pic of some of them coalesced in an overflow room (someone posted upthread). I bet they would have loved the optic to fill all the seats behind the microphone with a sea of red.

There weren’t enough of them there for a sea of red, maybe a puddle of red, but definitely not a sea!

    Don't play coy. It's unbecoming.

Let me save everyone else time and just say I already reported this post.

    Go away.

Where did I tell her she's a fool? Where have I said anything at all about her? Please show me.

In 2014 I was in the House Judiciary room until midnight, got home at 1:30, then got up at 3, commuted an hour and a half, and had a 9 hour work day that started at 5.

If you read through this thread you will see several places where I tell everyone who was there how inspiring you were and how thankful I was. I'm not trying to belittle your effort. I just think we've tried the nice thing forever, it hasn't worked, it's time to try a different approach.

I truly appreciate all the time you and your husband spent there yesterday and your testimony, but really. This??

Bertfish. Whatever. He wants us to get mad, I got mad!

ok CSM, I got mad. I'm tired. thank you for what you've done in the past. But post after post after post telling me how we've doing it wrong when we don't even know the outcome of last night is infuriating!

And whoever asked really? I'm not good at multiquotes. But yes really. He wants us to get mad, so here, I got mad. Mad at being told I'm doing it wrong! I'm doing it the only way I know how. Spending 3 days of vacation time fighting for our rights. No, he didn't directly call me out. But I am certainly part of the group he is criticizing.

Don't put words in my mouth and accuse me of things I didn't say or do.

Her unfailingly thoughtful and diplomatic interaction with the chair and the other delegates is the very embodiment of what you’ve spent multiple comments scolding about when you use the plural “you” about wrong everyone is.

For all of the butt-hurt here directed at Mopar, it isn't even on the Moms' radar. If you scan over some of their social media pages, they are going nuts over the Sheriff's "We will not Comply" speech in the overflow room and are sharing the video over and over. That seems to be the "shocker" from yesterday.

Who was really butt hurt was the woman from Marylanders for prevention of gun violence or whatever. They kept referring to her as from MOMs and she was clearly getting annoyed by it. Gold. I almost felt bad for her. almost. it was kind of cringeworthy.

A lot of emotions here but we’re all on the same side.

Oh my, there's the bell ending this round, let's total up the scores and move to pictures of the Left LOSING THEIR MIND...

Posting again, in case this got buried by the avalanche of "Mopar92: Beast or Braveheart"...

Being an a$$ to our own does not help.

Instead let's all be an a$$ to our opponents and expel our energy on them. That's some shenanigans I can get behind.

She was great yesterday, and was sick being told her efforts were for naught. Don't blame her.

Being angry and/or otherwise emotional does not mean one has to be vulgar. One may express anger or other emotions without being vulgar.

Thanks Stoveman. I woke up and read all this and just got furious.
Honestly, I was in awe yesterday reading this thread and seeing all you and your family did. It was truly inspiring. I didn't mean to direct anything at you or at any other single person, I'm sorry you took it that way. I know you expended a lot of energy yesterday and you are tired I'm sure. I have a thick skin and didn't get offended by what you posted.

My point is that we have been polite and taken the high road for a long time and it's gotten us nowhere. It's time to try something different.
