“Few men are willing to brave the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential, vital quality for those who seek to change a world which yields most painfully to change.”

~ Robert F. Kennedy 1966 Speech, US Democratic Politician

I got out of my cooking gig at 11 p.m. last night. EIGHT straight hours of prep, cooking, serving, teardown and cleanup. No time to eat the meal we prepared. On my feet the entire time. I WISH I could have joined my brothers at the festivities.

IMO, flinging brickbats at those who cannot attend FOR ANY REASON really doesn't help the causes that the PP supports. I do wish the "flingers" would just refrain. You don't realize it, but it does turn people off and further empowers our adversaries. :sad20:

Hopefully I'll be able to partake in the upcoming get together...

    Imagine that!

The Patriot Picket conducted an operation that the other side didn’t see coming!

And it was SO STEALTH some on our own side were “blindsided”....

As for drawing in the Left to take pictures of us and our flags and signs so that FREEDOM MESSAGES would appear in places they never appear....LOL, what’s not to like ?

    Hehehe...Trolling Level: Expert?

    TROLLING LEVEL HUGE!

I don't think brickbats were flung at those who don't attend these events. PP attendance is encouraged and welcomed, but not attending IMO is not ridiculed either. But criticizing the event before if even gets off the ground isn't helpful. As Stove said, coming up with a winning recipe for each event is a hallmark of PP planning and execution. Contribute something but don't criticize and then do nothing. That's not a winner either.

The right ingredients and proper level of heat is always needed for a good recipe.

I believe the PP leadership has come up with winning recipes for the events we have participated in.

If people come over and want a taste of what's being served, that's a win.

Being critical when never having stood with the PP is the problem.

If people knew everything that went into it, would make it much easier to understand.

Pretty impressive showing, read through most of this thread. Good luck in Fairfax with that little Nazi imbecile and his crowd -
    it WILL be different.

I was skeptical when the mission was first brought up and stated why.
Once the official plan was rolled out, I was on board with it. Yesterday afternoon, I donned my PP shirt, loaded my car and fell down in my driveway. :sad20:
I agree wholeheartedly that Rack, Stove, et al properly plan these events. I was involved in planning "Trump And Antifa In Harrisburg" and understand how much recon work is done beforehand.

Everyone must understand , not all events can be a grand slam . From the pictures and what is being reported here seems to be a grand slam , or a hole in one , a hat trick . Well you get the ideal .

And proper planning maximizes the likelihood of this (a play on the old maxim that chance favors the prepared mind). It's clear that these guys put a lot of forethought in the execution of these events. From getting Maxine Water's attention to engaging the political middle with a thoughtful messaging campaign, I think we've seen two very different, but successful showings.

How much did the organizers spend on logo shirts for the staff? I’m guessing more than they turned over to the survivors. Where does the money (if any) go?

It’ll bounce off both sides of the Atlantic and end up in the coffers of a group that just so happens to host the Mayor of Annapolis for a paid speech.

Sadly, there will be no true accounting of the money collected, spent, or distributed because it was not a City of Annapolis event, despite the Mercurial Mayor’s attempt to shame the City Council into being responsible for it.

There were events to benefit the families of the Gazette victims that were completely pure on spirit. I spent some time at Fado’s today for their benefit for the families of the victims. Most of the people there weren’t even aware of Saturday’s “fundraiser.”

From what I could tell this event was 100% going to the families, so I helped where I could.

That, my friend, IS truly sad.

That said, WELL DONE! And kudos to those who stood up for freedom!

I caught a few minutes of the channel 11 news Saturday night and I thought I saw an interview where he said that they had raised about $100k and that it was going to be matched from some other source, so that approx $200k was raised for the survivors and first responders.

By all appearances, the concert was at 2/3rds capacity, which translates to around $50,000 in ticket revenue.

Subtract the publicly reported cost of $32,000 (for staging, Annapolis police and EMS services) and this brilliant scheme of playing music and bashing Trump between music sets yielded a grand total of $18,000!

So on TV “Bipartisan Buckley” says $100K going on, $200K?

Hey Mayor, show us the money!
