    AWESOME JOB EVERYONE!

Thanks everybody for your donations. I think we should have what we need based on what folks have promised in the thread and via PM.

I just placed an Amazon order for 2X cameras, SD cards, and head straps. I should have everything Saturday and will bring it along on Monday to give to the PP.

He’s prettier than I am. The least I can do is match his contribution....

Jeff is a fantastic man and obviously I’m not in a position to accept being arrested but he deserves our support! Even a BS nolle arrest would cost me 30 days pay!

I dunno about that prettier, you still got before kids hair, I’m getting after kids hair lol

    Oh and it’s been sent!

Thank you Slybar, well done brother

And yes, Jeff, Stove, and others in the Picket pay for just about everything out of pocket, so any excess donations will go towards more sign materials and other needs.

Thanks to all of you Patriots for stepping up to make this happen!!

Yes, Jeff and the PP do great work!

When my 13 year old daughter saw you she said “he’s cute, get his number when he’s legal”.

Yes! :mdpatriot: Who knew giving away money could be so easy? (I didn't ) Maybe there is a way PP could have a gofundme (or something...I don't know much about that kind of stuff) where anyone could periodically donate at any time? As awesome as it is that Slybarman is doing this , I'm sure it takes some work to keep up with, and he probably doesn't want to have to be doing it constantly

GoFundMe takes a cut. Friend to Friend PayPal doesn’t.

For those not familiar with the wide-open nature of the sidewalks at the site of the patriots' arrests, here is a Google maps street view of the area. Watch the 1A video and note the scarcity of people, go to street view and look at the surrounding area, then draw your own conclusion.

What authorities did that night was disgusting.

I notice that all the pedestrian cross walks are clearly marked and have signs that cars should stop for pedestrians in the crosswalk. Perhaps the MCP should be arresting the drivers that don't stop?

I have three delegates. Mike Malone, one of the good guys, is aware and 'supportive". Tony McConkey is a useless, ethically challenged individaul, against whom I am tempted to run.

Sid Saab is terrific. He is actively sponsoring some of the good bills.

Today, his assistant forwarded me the MCP response to the delegate. I answered it:

Ms. H - Thank you. I've seen this and it has more holes than a screen door.

The Maryland Capitol Police are responsible for providing a safe working environment for state employees and visitors that frequent state properties, and to secure buildings that are located on state property. -TRUE

The Maryland Capitol Police responded to a demonstration occurring without a permit [NO PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR SUCH A DEMONSTRATION. SEE MCP GUIDELINES.], within the public right away of the sidewalk [THE SIDEWALK WAS NOT BLOCKED. THERE IS AMPLE VIDEO EVIDENCE], at the intersection of Bladen Street and College Avenue. Out of a concern for public safety [WHOSE? WHO WAS ENDANGERED?], and in an abundance of caution due to two pedestrians being being stuck by vehicles in the last year [UNASSOCIATED WITH THESE DEMONSTRATIONS. DAYLIGHT HOURS], and nearly a half dozen reported pedestrians complaints concerning vehicle failing to yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk [AGAIN, UNRELATED TO THESE PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATIONS. IF VEHICLES ARE THE PROBLEM, TRY ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS AGAINST THE OFFENDERS.], the demonstrating group was asked to relocate to Lawyers Mall [THE TRAP HERE IS THAT A PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR ACTIONS IN LAWYERS MALL. UPON RELOCATION, THEY COULD HAVE BEEN CITED IN ACCORDANCE WITH PUBLISHED RESTRICTIONS.]

After three (3) request to move their location to allow for pedestrians to freely use the sidewalk, crosswalks and to reduce conditions for distracted vehicle operators approaching the intersection [AGAIN, NOT SUPPORTED BY THE VIDEO EVIDENCE.], two individuals declined and were subsequently arrested for Criminal Law Article 10-201 Disorderly Conduct, Disturbance or the Public Peace, Nuisances.[THEY WERE SUBSEQUENTLY CITED FOR TRESPASSING, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THIS INCIDENT. THEY RECEIVED THOSE CITATIONS THE FOLLOWING DAY, AT THE SAME LOCATION, FOLLOWING A NEWS INTERVIEW.]

The MCP explanation also omits Sgt. Pope's statement, that while these peaceful demonstrations had been permitted in the past, "Something's changed.". We strongly suspect that it was a visit by the Patriot Picket to a neighborhood coffee hosted by Del. Ramirez this past Saturday. MCP has stated that they did not act upon any specific complaints on Monday evening. Nevertheless, someone provided direction to Sgt. Pope and the six supporting MCP units that were on the scene to stop a peaceful free speech activity.

I regret that I cannot link to the ample video from my work, but I encourage Del. Saab to 'go to the tape'.
