There were a bunch of them at the Denton WM the other day.

whats even crazier is how cabelas and a lot of other places are still trying to sell .22 over priced. Like thunderbolt ammo for 29 dollars at academy or 34 and dsg etc...

its nice when you find 22 for at least close to what it should be going for.

Take advantage of things while they are returning to normal, my friends. I've doubled my reserve of .22 and will continuing to buy more than I shoot for the foreseeable future. You never know when it isn't going to be readily available any more.

Dicks in hunt valley has plenty of 22lr

Quarterfield WM had .22 in the case over the weekend, including CCI minimag for about $7.50.

That was a nice find. No problem with that. It would be nice if we saw bricks like we used to back in the day. Hoping manufacturing will be stepped up for the ever popular .22

The CMP is selling Eley Standard .22 by the case 5,000 rounds for $354.95 free shipping included. That is $35.50 a brick of 500 for good quality ammo.

Stock up for the next shortage.

I got that email too. I get the impression that its not 'Eley Standard' they simply relabeled. It says "ELEY in conjunction with the CMP developed an accurate round" which makes me think it yet another version of Eley that doesn't exactly match anything else. Or maybe it does. But its going to be a crapshoot as to whether it works well in your guns w/o trying it first.

I bet it works better than Thundercrap and if it doesn't work for you you can always sell it to your friends who either don't know about ammo testing or don't care about accuracy. Or a better idea just keep buying guns until you find one that likes the ammo.:D

Academy Sports has American Eagle 50 Rd boxes for $2.49. Free shipping over $25. Pretty hard to beat. Also Winchester 555 round bricks for $28.99

I can not imagine that Eley would put their long standing reputation on the line with sub par ammo.
