Hey my name is jamie. I live in balto. County. just joined after hearing my husband talk non stop about here. I started shooting about 3 years ago when my husband wanted to get a firearm for home defense. At that time I had no idea I'd fall in love with shooting like I have. He took me to the range per my stipulation of having a firearm in the house. I wanted to feel comfortable if I ever had to use it. We shot a .22 revolver and that's when my love started. I went and got my hql over a year ago and purchased my first 1911.
Excited to be here and learn all I can!

Welcome Siggirl1911. If you really want to help the 2A cause in Maryland, get involved with your elected officials. That includes writing and emailing them, and showing up to testify at stupid committee meetings, like the one to deny carry permits to terrorists. Duh! Never mind any attempt at keeping them from having guns in the first place! There is a lot more to that story than I'll go into here, but suffice to say, there is room at the table for you should you care to make your voice heard regarding "common sense" gun regulations. It is also lots of fun to greet lawmakers on the sidewalk in Annapolis. Look for Patriot Picket threads coming up soon, as the legislature starts meeting after the new year.
