I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. I did do a search and I couldn't find an appropriate place. I'm putting a Bushnell TRS-25 on my 10/22 takedown. I found one for $64 using a start up Amazon.com competitor called jet.com. We'll see how it works out.

This one sort of has a Mini-14 look about it. I like it!

Supposed to be a 10/22 M1 carbine clone. Really its just a 10/22 in a M1 like stock and sort of M1 sights. Ive seen builds that were much closer to a real M1 in look and feel. But for the money I couldn't resist buying one.

I just use my single 10/22 for all of the above.
[EDIT nothing wrong with getting several 10/22's; just saying]

I received this on June 8th. Best price I could find anywhere. I'm very happy with the purchase.

How many 10/22s are considered to be "too many?" Whenever I mention getting another 10/22 because it is different than any I have, my wife is quick to say that I already have "too many." I'm not even sure she knows exactly how many I actually have.
I realize that the standard textbook answer for guns, ammo, and tools is that there is NEVER "too much" or "too many." But what is your answer?

The correct response would be 'a couple of them'....LOL.

FWIW...seems you found your own collectors niche. Nothing wrong with that and less expensive than collecting martial 1911's and 1911-A1's.

Well I though I could get by with one when I built my first one as an open division speed shooting rifle. But I had some parts laying around so I bought another receiver just so I could have a backup rifle just in case, this with mostly different parts that the first one but the same light weight and such. Then the American Marksman competition came around and I realized I needed an iron sight rifle also. First I bought one of the take off tapered steel barrels with the Williams sights (my favorite iron sights), then a conventional type stock (fake CF overlay) and merged that with my backup rifle. Loved the sights, hated the weight of the steel barrel. So recently bought the TacSol alloy barrel with the iron sights. but that means I need a stock with a bull barrel channel. I do have a couple of thumbhole stocks I am not using, but I really like the Axiom stock. And its about the same cost as a Hogue. So now I am thinking I need to buy another receiver.

If my husband wants to buy more guns or gun accessories I always say YES! I'm happy when he's happy and vice versa. :D So, as long as we have the available funds my answer will always be yes! That being said, neither of us are huge impulse buyers. If you've thought through and researched your purchase go for it!

    They have..

Beautiful! That looks like a 180- or 190- series mini with the wooden handguard . I've been looking for one for a 58x- series mini.

Love the folding stock on the upper one. I had to look closely to see if it was an AC 556

    I am tentatively going for 5 rugers. A 10/22 22lr, a 10/22 22wmr, an American rimfire 22lr, an American rimfire 22wmr and a mini-14.

This is subject to change if course. Counting down the days to getting my first Ruger (10/22 22lr).

Ya I wish it was an AC 556. I had the chance to buy one a few years ago but passed and kick myself when I see how much prices on them have risen.

The 10/22 is no longer made in 22 wmr and those that were are not reliable; semi-auto magnum rimfires are difficult to make. There is a great American Rifleman article that explains it when they did an article on the Savage semi-auto 17 hmr. Different story for a bolt gun.

Takedown would be my next 10/22.
