I don't price the Remington since I don't use them but the federal game shok blue boxes were $39. Interesting the thunderbolts were only $2 less. I thought thunderbolts were the bulk type. I dunno, maybe the game shok is also. My daughter is shooting a lot so I'm hunting deals again if there is such a thing as deals.

Is .10 a round for cci SV the new norm?

I don't know of any semi auto rifles that will reliably feed, shoot and eject the Quiets. Reliably being the key word in the sentence. I've got a 10/22 with a ton of work to lighten the bolt, a number of custom springs and a suppressor, and I can not get it to reliably shoot the Quiets. I've been working on this rifle for more than a year (on and off) to get some type of reliability with the Quiet ammo with no real success.

My old Savage/Sears/JC Higgins semi models that were designed for S-L-LR shoot them fine. That's why I have them. :)

does anyone know of a local source for Eley Match or Tenex ammo? I'd like to try just a box or 2, but shipping from online vendor will really jack up the overall cost for me for 100 rounds.

never shot Eley before... trying to figure out why all the flavors... it can get confusing.

Gander has the Eley match also but I don't know if their price is too high. Free shipping if you buy $50 or over.

Just wait until you start buying ammo for that new AR of yours...you'll wish you could ONLY pay $37 for 500 rounds...lol.

while the wishing part is true for that, I'm no newbie to AR's or the price of .223/.556 ammo so it doesn't sting as bad. in fact this ammo is back to much lower prices in the last few years.

10 cents a round for low level 22 ( as if there is s such thing as high level lol) is tough to accept
