Was walking by looking at one vendor, he was talking to a woman, trying to move her into a .380, but she wanted to stick with the .22 to start.

Husband asked if it was Long Rifle. Vendor says, "No, it is a pistol." :lol2:

Then he tells the woman that .22 is good, she can shoot all day and the ammo is cheap. Noticed he didn't have any .22 ammo to sell. :lol2:

I was there with my son yesterday and thought it was one of the best Timo shows in years. Yes there was some high prices, but also some decent. We were there from about 10 to 1230. Good crows and the vendors seemed to be moving stuff.
I meet some MDS folks, saw some others and some old friends. It was worth it to me.
I did see that sub2K for 649. I thought of brining mine in and offering yo dell it to him....

I saw one at the Gun Bunker in PA. for the same price, just can't justify spending that much. I can buy an ak pistol and sbr it for that price.

Saw one used one priced at $800+. I checked twice to make sure is wasn't a vz58.

It was crazy that these were anywhere near $850 when a NIB Czechpoint VZ-58 is only $200 more from an IP.

I went to this show, saw a good mix of nice stuff at Shooters Discount and South Carroll, but the rest of the show wasn't anything special. Went to Duffys and bought a VZ-58 afterward. It was a good day.

Went about 1 pm, a lot of junk/knife venders and a few empty tables.
I did pick up a nice Star M43 from Blue Fins for a decent price, from super salesman Mopar. Thanks' Dave and Mopar.

I'm very happy you bought that gun, that and one of the 1911's we had on display where beginning to tempt me to get my HQL, that Star had an AWESOME trigger.
Now to get rid of that foul mouthed Colt temptress.............

PS if I can send some rounds downrange out of that Star, lemme know, for ummmmmmm, quality control purposes?

    Yeah, quality control purposes.

You and I may have to get together for a range trip to try it out, I already have the same pistol in the Starvel finish that I think shoots great, so the nice trigger was no surprise. I was fingering the Star B's that Lou had today and they had nice triggers as well, may pick one of those at the next show.
