I only talked with RD and dblas. I had to keep my eyes on the kids, but I'm surprised no one else tapped me on the shoulder considering the giant MDS shield on the back of my shirt :D

I saw Dan but he looked like he was on a mission at the time. Then I didn't see him again.

    ANTI CAPITALIST!!!---ANTI CAPITALIST!!!

    You hate capitalism.

You hate, Mom, baseball, apple pie, and the American way.

The buyer can choose not to buy.

I do believe he was the only vendor with that rifle in the 40, so maybe he thought he could charge just a little more. It was still there when I left.

He had a gen1 in 40 for 599. Idk what their name is but that particular vendor is grossly overpriced on every item ar every show. More power to him, he must be selling stuff to stay in business.

Oh, there were some out of this world prices on some firearms. C&R and modern prices were decent, but there were some who must have thought they had one of a kind firearms for sale.

I guess they figure they can always go down in price, but it's impossible to raise their prices once someone show interest.

    That's a good point.

While there, I don't eremember the woman at that table, not taking someone's money. They sold a lot today.

Was there from 10-12. No line, but it was packed. I wasn't expecting much from a Timonium show, but it was better than the last few years. Bought a used 870 slug gun from a vendor I don't remember seeing there in the past. Considering it's condition, I'm pretty happy with the price I paid.

My buddy and I headed up there this morning. He's got Christmas money that he's looking to eliminate on a Springfield XD-M. We got there just after 8:30, with only about 6-8 people in front of us. It was actually pleasant to wait out in the sunshine until they opened the doors. Sadly, we didn't see a single XD in the whole show. We might have missed one, but we were both looking pretty carefully at all the handguns.

I haven't been to the Timonium show in a couple of years, but to me it seemed like the "density" of tables was down from the last time. And also the ratio of guns to knives/nuts/clothing was even lower than my last trip. My personal preference is interesting used guns, rather than just long tables filled with new stock. For those, I can use the web for my research. The last time I visited the York, PA show I absolutely loved it...tons of firearms to look at and ponder.

All that said, we were done by 10:15. On the way back to 'Naptown, we swung by 2A Sales to see what they had in stock. Again, no joy on the XD. So we headed to our home club (AAF&G) and were able to shoot trap before the range closed at 1:00.

Got there about 10am, left about 1pm. Good show. Meet a few MDS'ers. As stated lou did not have time to put his snuggies on. He was very busy, but we talked about the Sarah doll posted above.

A lot more gun vendors, I still didn't like the guy in the first row on the right side, with the sign that says he's selling his personal firearms, but there were commercial price tags on every one of them. He's been to the last couple Timonium shows and has had that sign up each time.

Some good prices, not great. I was a little disappointed in the selection of firearms. But that may just be me. Neil was the only one to have powder and it was a powder I didn't recognize. DO NOT go to the food court. $12 for a pulled pork sandwich and a coke, and the sandwich was worse than cafeteria food back in school.

A lot of bad information was being passed around. Some guy with a Batimore Police t-shirt was giving a hard time to one of the vendors saying that a rifle he was selling was on the list of banned firearms. He said because it had a threaded barrel (no flash suppressor or muzzle break on the rifle) and a folding stock, it was on the list. I let the man have his say and then the vendor and I talked and he just blew off the guy.

*****Then I was at a vendors' table and telling him I was looking at a stock he had and I wanted to measure it to see if it could be used to complete a SBR I'm building (after the paperwork comes back). He then told me that BATF told him that in order to measure the overall length, you had to collapse the butt stock and then measure the rifle. I assured him he had misunderstood, but he told me I was wrong. I then asked him how many SBRs he has sold in the last year and he said he doesn't sell them. So I asked him why would a BATF agent tell him something if he wasn't selling that specific item. He shut up and walked away.

I walked for as long as my knee would allow. After all of this walking, there wasn't anything that jumped out at me that said buy me.

However, I do believe another suppressor is in my future. Gotta make a call and see what we can do.

Good luck to the attendees, I hope you find what you're looking for.

I am happy that you shared a laugh with the salesman... Because, after telling him that the KelTec SU16C was a MDSP BANNED ITEM... I then realized that he did not take it serious... Soooo, I talked to the FFL and SHOWED him the MDSP BANNED RIFLE list. (Effective 11/09/15)

The rifle was then removed from the table... WHILE SOMEONE WAS ATTEMPTING TO BUY IT!

If you're going to share a laugh about someone... Get your facts straight FIRST.
We do NOT need the news to report that a rifle on the MDSP BANNED RIFLE list was sold in some damn gun show loop hole.

And FYI ... That FFL thanked me for saving his bacon.

Got there a little before 2, walked around a bit and was unmolested by anything... until...

    There it was.

A new, unfired Hi-Point 4095, priced to complete the set!!

Was about to pull out the wallet, when I realized whose table it was...

Fox Firearms. I walked off, satisfied.

You know that list is not accurate. That rifle is perfectly legal to sell in MD.

2a will sell the XDM but you have to have them order it. ONTarget sometimes has in stock
I recommend dealing with 2A first and talk about it.

How the feck is the SU-16c a copycat?
    It's NOT an AR15.
    It's 35" long.
It does not have a flash hider or grenade launcher.

I think someone needs to press the MSP for an explanation.

I am sorry that you missed this one... It was like the pre 2013 shows. A huge crowd early on and a lot more tables covered. And there were a lot of newbies looking around and asking questions about everything. There were still some deals to be had and most of the ammo I saw was a bit closer to average prices than in times past when I am sure it must have been gold plated brass casings.

Good to say hello to those friends I know from here and also several folks I have worked with over the years.
