Does anyone have any idea who is in the running for the next MSP Superintendent??

I will throw my name in the hat (j/k) or my maybe Zoostation will come out of retirement? How about Road dog, MPDC4511 or 2Sam22?

How about Dan Bongino if he looses the election?

Or bring Jack McCauley out of retirement. That would frost some asses.

But the others mentioned would be stellar as well.

I second the Dan Bongino nomination though I think he can get to 3K he needs in the absentee ballot count so here's hoping he can be the representative for district 6

my preference as well. Wish I could have cast a ballot for him instead of the choice I had.

But he would make an outstanding Superintendent if he does not prevail.

Dan was on wcbm this morning saying that if he lost the race, he'd go back to his security business.

Jack has already said he's doing what he feels he needs to...

But, if the recount isn't friendly, I love the Bongino idea!

I can't imagine Jack saying no if Hogan personally approached him and told him he has carte blanche (knowing Jack will do the right thing for the people).

The new Superintendent is going to be somone who Hogan feels he can work with.

All the previous names would serve the office well, but I have a feeling Hogan will handpick someone without the name recognition. So they can work quickly and quietly without any drama.

    1600 of ~5800 absentees counted, DB +150... -2000 overall

For those a bit more obsessive, like me, here's one place to monitor the running total ...

    http://elections.state.md.us/elections/2014/results/General/gen_results_2014_2_00806.html

However, extrapolating, if Bongino went up a net 150 votes from approx the first quarter of the absentee votes, then he might gain 750 more, not enough to pull ahead.

Don't know if the 5800 number is absentee votes on hand, or number sent out. If that's all sent out in District 6, then the total returned/postmarked by November 4 will be lower.

If 5800 is what they had on hand on November 4, they're supposed to collect absentees sent by mail up to November 11 as long as the postmark is not beyond November 4.
