Our discussion of how pitiful MDA is, has given it more "press" (although all negative), than it deserves. I've got to hand it to them, the name alone makes it hard to not make a joke or two.

I would like to think MDA has just read the Brady website and believes that dribble.

The truth of self defense can be solved with one simple question: It's 3am, someone is kicking in your door, would you rather your loved ones have a tennis racket to defend themselves or a firearm?

The real answer to that question says a lot about a persons respect for life, and ability to apply logic and reason.

Gangs and drugs, that's the real problem with "violence" In Maryland. I think these ladies may be well intended, just grossly misinformed.

As much as many of us might like it, the firearm debate is simply no part of this campaign. Other than Brown running false ads, its not an issue. Hogan has much more important issues to address in Maryland, like taxes, jobs, keeping businesses in Maryland, fixing the Omalley/Brown neglect of years past.

Urchin: A generally ill-tempered or poorly behaved child, usually as the result of being dragged out as a prop and/or human shield for a generally useless political stunt

Sitting: Action by a vulnerable yet capitalistic individual willing to care for an urchin for compensation. Dares not mention capitalistic nature of this activity to those requesting the service.
