MMmmm Hoping for a good deal on some 7.62 ammo. Some non-magnetic would be nice. Do they have 'we wont sell to you' ammo people as well? I know ammo sales to DC residents are unrestricted as long as I have my registration, however I did run into a vendor that was ignorant of this fact in the past.

They will not even ask when giving cash :)
But before I buy ammo, I'll still ask about long guns and pay a little more if needed.

    Make them feel the pain.
Ask them if they sell long guns to Md. And if they say no then say " I was going to buy this (insert non firearm item) but I don't buy from vendors who exclude Marylanders ".

Why would that bother them? Who would refuse a long gun sale from a Marylander yet expect them to buy a non-firearm item? Better yet, what dunce from Maryland would consider that?
Might make YOU feel better but the vendors have already figured that out.....

If they think it's acceptable, then they will continue to exclude Marylanders.
I'll buy from those who don't exclude us even if i have to pay a tad more.
They have every RIGHT to exclude us as I have every RIGHT to exclude them and let them know they are giving in to letting the LIBS split us apart.

Can anyone list off the names of some FFL's who will be there? I just remember Trader Jerry's and SSG Tactical off the top of my head. I need a handgun shipped USPS by an FFL, and it would be most convenient to simply drop it off with one there.

I'll be curious of the number of "I won't sell a long gun to you because you live in MD" dealers there are this time and if any of the ones that turned my dad down still sing the same tune. I think I'll ask each one and then compile a list to post so people dont' waste their time. Or maybe present the list to the show organizers mentioning that this sort of thing discourages show attendance and is not a very "solidarity" move on the vendors part. I know its within their rights to not sell, but its within our rights to mention who is not selling too. And I'm not talking selling an HBAR, My dad was turned down buying a Ruger 10/22 for gosh sakes.

If I were a Maryland FFL, I would set up at this show with a big selection of Maryland-legal firearms and put up a big sign saying I am selling handguns and other firearms to Maryland residents. I would transfer the standard-capacity magazines to buyers at the show and they could pick up the guns at my store 7 days later. I would also do transfers for handguns buyers bought from other FFLs at the show. There are so many Maryland residents that go to this show, there's money on the table for FFLs that will sell to them.

Isn't that what South Carroll Sporting Goods essentially does?

Going Sunday morning, mostly looking for mags and ammo cans. Got the whole list together of what I'm after, now I gotta figure out what the "fair price" is for each of them so I don't get screwed.

Accurate Pawn usually has a table there, but they don't sell any handguns there. I've never asked why. I always thought that was strange though. His prices are probably higher than a lot of the Virginia dealers but us Marylanders can't buy from the VA dealers without doing a transfer.

Then he'd be "commando", and that's even MORE dangerous.

    ;)

I was thinking about going Saturday, but for a first time visit, would prefer to tag along with someone else.

Probably will just browse, but ya never know, right??!

You could always meet us there H. Not sure how long you stay at these things, but I was there for 4 hours last time and still didnt see everything.. Only left because they were closing lol.. If you are not on a time constraint, you could ride with me and a couple buddies.. Both of the guys going with me were at the shoot last week.

I may take you up on that. Have a few other things to sort out first.
