I just saw Bloomberg on one of those lame morning 'news' shows and he was saying all the same lies about making it a safer world and it's not about taking away people's guns, the 'interviewer' didn't ask any hard questions about gun free zones have the highest murder rates, etc...
Phony hypocrite. ps: to him - you can't earn your way into heaven, it's by the blood of the Lamb only.

An organization to "fight" the NRA?

I'm not sure he get's the meaning of the term "fight". The NRA has it's issues, and though I'm not always happy member, it's an important organization.

Bloomberg's idea of an "anti-NRA" will be to throw money at special interest groups to direct their voices. I don't think the NRA membership works that way. At least not in my experience. I find myself pointing this out to anti-gun acquaintances when they complain of the power of the NRA as if it's a monolithic smoke filled board room of old white guys. Maybe it's time to break out the checkbook again. I'll make a nice extra contribution in Mr. Bloomberg's name (and perhaps let him know about it).

Let him spend his money and time on wasted efforts. I'm juist concerned for his health, we wouldn't want him getting stressed out, develop high blood pressure and have an MI.

On second thought, maybe he should be banned from using his power and money to buy influence. It's for his own good.

Go ahead... let him make himself the permanent face of the anti-rights movement... couldn't think of a better fool... I mean foil for our arguments. What a Bozo (and I do apologize to Bozo).

This is the guy who became a billionaire assembling a financial media empire to provide specialized information to the very Wall Street bankers and brokers who liberals claim engineered and caused the financial crisis. He profited even more from the collapse, with a 30% market share in 2010, up from 25% in 2005. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloomberg_L.P.

He is not in a moral or intellectual position to tell anyone what to do, about anything. The poster above, with the 80% illiteracy rate among New York high schoolers, is fitting. Another liberal who wants to distract everyone from the results of his own policies.

He deserves a special place in Hell, not Heaven.

I guess they can keep spending thier money. If they are trying to change national gun rights, its not going to happen it's not what the people want. His best bet is to go to hyper liberal places like here in Maryland and get stuff done there.

I know MOM is looking to make a presidential run, but one thing I don't think he understands is that he has no shot with MANY dem's in the other 40 or so states that disagree with his life saving gun bill that passed last year.

THis would just be sad if it wasn't SCARY. Throw in Soros and a few others and there is no way we can "compete" with their spending.

that and harvey weinstein making a movie that will make "every NRA member wish they were dead." is coming to a theater near you soon. seems the airwaves are going to be flooded with anti-agenda stuff soon.

He should be ashamed of himself. Did anyone else notice the timing of his announcement?

Today is the anniversary of the Virginia Tech mass shooting that took so many innocent lives.

Ever town for gun safety adds are poping up on. Gun related you tube channels. I wonder how they are billed. Point being this is likely the least receptive audience.... should we increase views and thus have bloomy pay for keeping the channel free?

Or can we click thought and still have bloomy pay for all the free pro gun stuff?

    Anyone know how this works?
Its a very deceptive add by the way.... shocking I know:)

    This is good for us.

NRA is the gorilla in the room when it comes to gun rights, but they've lacked a "face" on the other side outside of Obama. It makes it easy to paint gun owners/pro-2A folks as stooges of the NRA or that the NRA=Gun Manufacturers. For the most part, the fight between gun rights and gun right prevention on a national stage is viewed as NRA V. people claiming the higher moral ground. Gun right prevention lackeys vilify the NRA and the NRA doesn't have an opponent that resonates with your every day citizen.

This will change that. Now gun rights prevention groups = paid Bloomburg astroturf.

Sometimes competition is good. It forces you to stay relevant and if your side has more conviction (which ours obviously does), it stokes the fire. It's also going to help the NRA raise money.

"BIG CITY NANNY MAYOR BLOOMBERG PROMISED TO SPEND $50 M OF HIS OWN MONEY TO TAKE AWAY YOUR RIGHTS."

methinks people will respond to that and donate.

The NRA is grass roots and this is just going to make it even stronger. Bloomberg can buy all the astro-turf he wants. The arrogance and miscalculation on his part will prove enormous.

NRA shouldn't even comment on Bloomberg. Let him spend his money.

Gloomturd thinks his $$$ can literally buy him anything, even a 1st Class Seat in Heaven. As he grows more geezerly and his time on this earth draws nigh, I can only pray that he retains his current convictions and earns a smoky seat in one of the lowest plains of Gehinnom.

Well I am OK with him going to heaven. ;) Really... in fact I promise to pray for his soul....;) I don't want him in Baltimore, but since that's closer to purgatory I guess he does not plan to stay long ;)

Click the ads. Bloomberg pays the bill, and the channel makes a little bit of money. Bloomberg is obviously a brilliant business man!

Yea that's what I thought. These are the video ads that play on start up and let you skip after n seconds. The add is a full 60 sec long(and takes a long time to get near the point) so he is also brilliant ad man ;)

Frankly it takes do long to get near the point that it may not even work on TV. Let alone I internet...

But if he starts Biding up the price of certain ad words...

Well let's see.... perhaps we should start spelling 'gun'... 'freedom stick'. :)

"I am telling you if there is a God, when I get to heaven I’m not stopping to be interviewed. I am heading straight in. I have earned my place in heaven. It’s not even close," Bloomberg said.

I'm not sure it works that way...

    Arrogant prick.

No one earns it. That is like trying to jump the grand canyon on a tricycle. It is by the grace of God, and the blood of Jesus Christ that any of us get in.
