I think alot of the politicians will keep things relatively quiet in Annapolis this session. They know that the tax increases, and the gun control was very unpopular with a large part of the state. They want to be re-elected, and are banking on a short memory from the populace. If the politicians don't see a large pushback in 2014, then IMO, all bets are off in 2015.

    Exactly!:mad54:

Frosh will respect you in the morning...
    He does love you...
And he won't (/€ in your mouth...

He also says that he won't push for more restrictive gun laws next year.

Really ??? Is ANYONE naive enough to believe ANYTHING that pompous ass declares? WTF is up with that?

If he's telling the truth, it's because he doesn't want anything too controversial or time-consuming that might jeopardize his AG run, where he can do the most damage by influencing when and how to enforce and interpret SB281. The bill already gives the next AG a huge arsenal of tools to go after gun owners with, full of vagaries, technicalities, and pitfalls to be interpreted by the courts. An AG's wet dream. The deck is stacked, and now he wants to be the dealer for the house.

Everyone in this state--gun owners, homeowners, drivers, travelers, taxpayers, consumers of every bent--need to treat all their pet issues the same, and assume that politicians will lie as it suits them... ESPECIALLY in Maryland.

Every issue needs advocacy, and every group needs to have their say in numbers as huge as possible.

Take nothing for granted, and take back Maryland.

Well, I believe that what he is really saying is...

"If you like the current gun laws as they are in Maryland, you can keep them."

Now, Why does that sound so familiar. :sarcasm:

Frosh is running for AG, but NEEDS more votes than MoCo can provide, and he knows it. He's trying to hide his complicity in the passage of SB281 by just not focusing on it in his 'plus column'.

I think this is exactly the case and it's part of his election strategy. Frosh will be trying to keep it on the "down low" to prevent his "negatives" from going up. He wants to be Attorney General and touting new gun control legislation will only rile up his opponents in other areas of the state. Our job will be to get the silent majority to be aware of what he's trying to do and voting for a candidate who will uphold our rights.

Whether or not Frosh is on the "down low", WE WILL MAKE DAMNED SURE THAT HIS "NEGATIVES" ARE UP!!!!!!!!!!! And this applies to ALL THOSE OTHER ASSHOLES in Annapolis that are hellbent on removing our rights, imposing unfair taxation, then giving our tax $$$$$$$$$ to those that don't deserve it.

That or we all eat chili the night before and crop dust his office, let him know what we really think of him.

All we need is one, just one. I'll feed Mopar, who is on an empty stomach, two stale granola bars (still gotta' few left) a few hours before he enters Frosh's office. Take my word on this one folks, it's the worse nightmare one's nose can experience.

I believe this because last year was all for show. They passed 2 bills that do nothing against crime but to the uninformed look good.

Those bills certainly have caused oppression, fear and frustration on our side. A little more "show" and we'll have no rights at all.
