I also have 2 items sitting in Gunrunners waiting for parole.. Early June paperwork...
It was my first dealing with Bob. It was a gun talk hang out area and relaxing and not uptight. However I don't like the waiting but Bob did say during the paperwork that it would be at least 10 weeks. That was my time to pull out if I didn't like it. I'm learning ... Is what it is..
The current purchase will not be going there simply for the wait times.

I do not have any purchases in purgatory, but there are now several stores that will not see my business. I am done at Bass Pro, and even though I am in Frederick, I will be going to Rockville for gun purchases now.

As an FYI Hendershots in Hagerstown, MD is releasing on time. It might be easier to go north than deal with 270 :D. There are also a few other places in Hagerstown, but Hendershots is the closest to Frederick.

I live in Frederick and have a lower at Hendershots.

Any stipulations on the on time release, such as need a designated collector letter or previous regulated purchase customer?

I live about a mile from 2 LGS's in Frederick and maybe a half mile from a third. I'd rather drive to Rockville and go to Engage or just down RT 70 to Mt Airy to Shooters Discount. It's service, price and release policy. Just my opinion

10 weeks and your paperwork didn't go in until June..?? I hate to break the news to you but 10 weeks is utter fantasy, it's not gonna happen, not even close. I'm at 14 (going on 15 weeks) right now for paperwork submitted in April, and the recording @ MSP says they are on April 15th for first reviews.

Yup, I live about equal distance to the three gun stores in Frederick, and my understanding from looking at the spreadsheet in the first post, none are doing on time release. I was going to go to Engage, but I did not really know about Shooters Discount. I have also given up on the other gun store in Mt. Airy, also not doing on time from what I remember. I need to check out Shooters as it is on my way home from work once they get back from vacation next week. I need gun clean supplies and I certainly do not want to also give Walmart my business for a whole bunch of other reasons.

Not as of this week when I did my paperwork. I'm a first time transfer there, and do not have a DCL.

I was curious as to this as well. Noticed that last night while trying to help a friend look for a store.

How come Engage is on the On Time list with no restrictions and on the On Time with Restrictions list?

It was a typo. they happen since dealers are changing policy often. Please use the comment feature if you have any suggestions, edits or concerns. It is very rare that I go through the thread now to pick them up.

In regard to your distaste of Bass Pro Shops:

    Everyone!!!,

There has been A report of a major change at our beloved Bass Pro Shop of Maryland. I don't want to ruin the surprise for anyone but, they have changed their 8 day release policy and the spreadsheet reflects that change.

If your dealer still isn't releasing rub their nose in that and see what they have to say...

Please ad Blue Fins to the On Time with Restrictions.
They are releasing if you have a previous ND in the past 90 days OR have a DC letter OR are LEO OR Military.

Any update on Clydes? I heard they will release early with waiver but only if you have purchased a regulated firearm within the past year? or are they releasing all with waivers now?

Agree, I am pretty much done with BPS. I have one in purgatory with them, and intend to transfer it come September to an 8 day if I have to.

There doesn't seem to be as many on the list as I thought there would a month after the lawsuit. :mad54:

More info on transfer fees would save a lot of calling around.
