I dropped a form 4 off yesterday at Pikesville and they told me 4 weeks.

BTW apparently you are supposed to drop off class 3 stuff between 10 and 2. I was politely reminded of that since it was 3pm. I didn't know that.

This is another reason to do a trust. No need for CLEO sign off.

I got Farris on a Suppressor. Mailed March 12. check cashed March 22 went pending 5/22. I have been looking on NFA tracker and Farris is averaging 190 days and Pickles is averaging 150 days.

Such BS. I was told Farris was on Vacation last week. I had an issue with trust paperwork and needed to talk to her to clarify. I called on Monday and was transferred to her and she told me she was still on Vacation and to call her back Tuesday! I can't imagine they transferred me out to her cellphone. WTF?

Almost 3 months for MSP? That just sucks. I dropped off a couple form 4's recently. They said 2 to 4 weeks.

Trust me, Im not real happy with MSP. They have no system over there. Many who dropped forms off after I did got theirs back within 3-7 weeks. Just my bad luck I guess. And in total it was 11 weeks and 1 day. And if someone says to just get a trust............ they need to just shut up. Im not new to the game and am very well aware of trusts. But, their only usefulness to me would be to get passed MSP. Not worth the $300-$600 imo.

I know a month or so of that was them wanting a citizenship form, which I think is crazy when the person was born in the US(stated on the form 4) and still lives in the US(also on the form 4). It shouldn't take that long, and I wonder if they are just trying to discourage NFA purchases by making the wait unreasonable.

Paid for my lwrc 6.8 with 8 in barrel at the beginning of october 2012. Got Interview with MSP at the end of October. Sent paper work to NAF on November 15th 2012. Got paper work back end of May with mistake(see above) on citizenship form. Sent paperwork back and was received by NAF on June 3rd 2013. Call on Monday of this week and was told I should receive answer by August 3rd. I have a c&r, maryland gun permit, and nra certified instructor. It just takes that long.
