Very exciting! I signed up both of my kids (17 & 20), but decided I'm too decrepit to try it myself. My son and daughter are both experienced shooters, but this will be their first try at anything like this. Guess I'll have to take a S&W M&P 22, M&P 15-22, and a .410 out of shop inventory to get them some practice...

Yeah but I have a custom M&P AR15-22 I shoot competitively already (actually 2 of them). I don't mind using their ammo but I would prefer to shoot my own 15-22 if possible. Mine looks perfectly normal, except for the AP Customs carbon fiber handguard, Geissele Super 3-Gun trigger w/JP low power springs, Safariland stock, Ergo grip, Nordic Tactical Comp, and TruGlo reflex sight. A perfectly normal competition AR15-22, that shot the last 2 Ruger Rimfire World Championships (and is going in 2013 also).
Not sure I could get used to the 5+ lb trigger of a stock 15-22 again.
I would love to shoot the M&P 22 pistol.

Heck I'm 65 YO, 260 lbs., with knees that have been worked on and I actively shoot 3-gun every month since late last year. Not like you have to carry all three firearms on a stage like some events.

Signed myself and the wife up.
Looks like an awesome event! We've never done an organized competition, and we've been talking about going up there to check out this range anyhow. Seems like the perfect opportunity!

Reg open to 400, anyone have the inside track on the logistics? That's a lot of shooters, usually at a 3 gun event you limit it to 50 or so a day and that takes 6-8 hours. Are they just shooting one stage or?

Very good question I was wondering the same thing myself. Its a long drive from Annapolis and would hate it if we didn't get to shoot. And again anyone who would like to carpool let me know.

I have no other solid intel. It's suppose to be a 3 gun event however. It's a NRA promotion for 3 gun. So I'm guessing at least 4 stages. Good networking event at the least. Meet some really cool people every time I shoot a match.

I'm in, signed up last week. My wife and kids are out of town so this is the perfect opportunity to go out and see PNTC since I'm considering doing the Tough Mudder there in the fall.

I'm in Pasadena and willing to drive if anyone wants to join in.

This is a 2 hour drive for me... I'm beginning to have second thoughts. With 400 shooters, I'm thinking there's going to be a LOT of standing around.

I'm kind of hoping a lot of people are thinking this way and we won't have 400 shooters. :)

Free events always have a lot of no-shows because people feel they haven't made an investment to be there so they decide not to go at the last minute.
