Hey JR88 I remember you talking about that lower kit to a young guy. That is sad man but like you say theres karma. I only wish now I would have checked your prices first. Me and some friends got some range time in today and it felt great. Shot my new Percision Firearms upper and It run flawlessly. AIM sports scope sadly had issues. Could not site in but the up side I made it to the show before closing an the guys exchange it with no problem. The door man even let me in free. Now its back to the range when I can. :D

I was talking to the precision arms guy about the move to Md. and SB281, he
didn't seem to care. He said he had 4000 AR Orders he had to fill by August!
I tried to get him to sell me a Noveske Upper Receiver to match my JoeBob's lower and he said he couldn't spare one. He did sell me a bunch of XM118 Lake City .308 Match for less than most vendors were selling XM193:rolleyes:

    Good signs at the show!
I got there around 1pm on Sunday, basically the end of he show, I just paid and walked right in after paying.
To my delight I saw a glut of AR15s. One vendor had colt carbines as low as 1200 to 1600. Others were still with their heads up their asses and asking near 3k. Obviously they were sitting with heir thumbs up their asses. This is a sign that the prices have peaked at this moment. Ammo prices were still high but there was a lot of it to be had (by that I mean the popular stuff like 223). I didn't buy anything because I didn't see anything but there were many positive signs that the prices should start falling Come late September it might be a different story but today there were loads of ar15s sitting around by he end of the show.

How much is 223 once fired brass going for there? I have a couple thousand that im about to offer for sale but I don't know how much it should sell for. Does anyone know the going price? thanks

$60 per 500 of the range floor cases. About $10 higher than the last show

Obviously, you weren't there time they had a MOTORCYCLE show going on at the same time!!! Actually, more often than not there is something else coinciding.

I went to the show on Saturday. When we arrived, we went first toward the craft fair building and was re-directed toward the gun show. We passed a woman who was storming to the craft fair exclaiming, "I am NOT going to the gun show." My fellow gun show attendee said, "I know how she feels. I am NOT going to the craft fair." :)

I had hoped to see better prices for ammo or even get leads on gun clubs. I'm looking for a gun club for women that is local. I enjoyed seeing what was offered but nothing tempted my credit card. It was a fun time though!

Was going to go to the show today but took a detour to my local Walmart. Got 150 rounds of 9mm for less than $35. Didn't have to pay admission or fight the crowds.

I've wondered how many couples go to the fair grounds and split company for different shows. Was she walking with a husband that was maybe trying to talk her into a spin around the gun show tables?

I don't know of a "women's only" gun club. I belong to Monumental Rifle & Pistol Club which meets out at Marriottsville AGC. It is the largest club out there and has a very large and active women's contingent. If you are a beginner or just interested, they host many "Women On Target" events throughout the year. (See schedule section of this web site.) Here is the link to Monumental: http://www.monumental.org/

And I nominate you as President of the first local gun club or chapter for women. AGC is over on the west side off Liberty road. Is that close enough? Maybe the women at Monumental would be agreeable to a sub-club or planned get togethers/matches?
