Would like to shoot my Mosin Nagant someplace locally. Is there anywhere I can do that? I live in Glen Burnie.
I'm looking for a place to shoot my Mosin Nagant near Glen Burnie. Is there anyplace close by where I can do that?
Sorry didn't mean to post twice
Thanks for this great list that took a lot of time to compose. Anyone know of any ranges that go to 1000 yds in the MD/DE area?
Most are out of state. Check the Competitive Shooting Section
This thread has several listed:

If you notice any missing or incorrect information please let me know so I can update the files. If you need any assistance with loading the file into your GPS'r, please contact me.
This link will take you to a Google Map of all ranges. Maryland Ranges
(Thank you Skins Brew!)
I have attached 1 file.
1. Maryland Shooting Ranges L.xls is the original file that can be converted to a .csv file and uploaded to your GPS'r.
This file can also be found on Google Docs
I also have a GPX file uploaded here;
http://www.poi-factory.com/node/29525 This file can be used on a BT enabled device to let you call the range directly.
(BTW, http://www.poi-factory.com is an excellent forum for anything GPS'r related and has an extensive list of POI files.

Dave MP, Hap Baker? Jeez, I don't wanna offend anyone here, but I can't even drive toward it anymore. And I'm quite unhappy about it. It's 15 minutes from me. Leaving the vehicle, walking the path, I can see muzzle flash. can anyone say, "In the line of fire"? Now if the parking lot and access drive were on the opposite side, It wouldn't be so bad. But, you are driving across the pistol range fire line, and only elevated about 20 feet (guesstimate), and there is no overhead cover forward of the shooters. One idiot reloads a mag while holding the arm left side upturned and pulled into the chest, discharge, "plink" against my fender, or my skull. If I am wrong about this please, anyone chime in here. But Ive been there twice and I think im spot on. Lemme know, cause I would love to go there, just dont wanna CLEARLY risk my life doing it. Danger Danger. But, I did not smell anything. It's quite a hike from the landfill area itself. It's no short hop skip and jump.My wife ahd a question about the Hap Baker Facility. Since it is adjacent to or on the landfill, does it stink?
We have been going to Elk Neck, and just realized that Hap Baker was 10 miles closer.
Thanks
