Yes. But the prices will still be jacked. No one will be willing to take a loss on their panic buys.

Basspro has been SLAMMMMMMMMED since the shooting. Tonight while waiting 2.5 hours to get helped to fill out paperwork on my m&p45(they called in a couple extra guys to work, they were just THAT busy), I heard probably 20 people say, "yeah, I got to get emm before they're banned". I kept coming up to people saying that and informing them about MSI, SAF, and the NRA-ILA, only 1 person acted like they were interested. Most everyone said, "I'm an nra member already", and largely acted uninterested. It's that time again. I'd buy reloading stuff RIGHT NOW before ammo is sold out. Remember the cycle last time around in 08.....guns gone, ammo gone, reloading stuff gone...in that order. It may be worth it to pick up some ammo cans full of bulk 193 or 855 to hang on to. In a month it'll probably double in price.

Looked busy to me. I was there with the kids to see Santa.

I then wandered to the Gun Area tonight and this weirdo was shouting when his # was called. I was in the aisle behind him and I thought I was going to have to take down a nutcase.

    Let the panic buying begin!
Glad I got my "evil assault weapons" and ammo a long time ago.
They've already more than doubled in price and maybe soon to be tripled.

Dang, sorry I missed ya. I saw some idiots over by the scope counter getting rowdy when I was leaving. I was there from around 4:30 to about 7:15. I think my pistol paperwork was the fastest that's ever gone through the store. it took mayyybe 5 minutes to go through the 4473, 77r1,2,3 and basspro form. :lol2:

I saw it was slammed and not the time to socialize. The weirdo event was around 6-7ish I would say. It was at the scope counter.

Had 14 AR platforms of one description or nother on the shelf, sold 13 between Friday and Saturday and the last one today.

People are very afraid that these will be banned shortly.

One of the above posts mentioned the runup to May '86 . That was primarily Class 11 mfgs stamping s/n's on hunks of metal as fast as they could.

The real retail slamming was the runup to the '94 AWB . Prior to that had limited intrest in EBRs , prefering real gun. But if they're going to ban them , I need to have one. At the time the prices were going up $100/ day.

My complete conversation was " Do you have an AR patterns in stock ? " Imeadately followed by " I'll take it " .

Turned out to be great rifle , moa out of box , and what I paid ended up being its market value '94-'04 .

I happened to grab up the last AR lower from 2A today. I'm really glad I ordered it over the phone, the store was wiped clean. I have a lower on back order from an online site, and didn't feel like I could wait the unknown ETA given the political climate. It also gave me a good excuse to check out what else they had. They have a really good selection of handguns and great pricing as always, I got to handle a Steyr S9-A1 for the first time. Its seems like it would be a pretty sweet piece except the grip is so darn small.

Yeh i stopped by to pick up a spikes lower and the line was out the door. The "genius" buying the sig had a million questions despite the long line of customers behind him. Once I heard lowers were sold out I left. Luckily I ordered a lower last week before this whole mess. My Big issue now is that Stag is quoting me 4 weeks for my upper to ship. ohh well

    This concerns me.

I badly wanted to get a RRA NMA4 to try a little high power shooting and all this panic buying and a potential ban is really going to make this an impossibility.

    :-(

I had my eye on the Sig 716 that Mark had and I was waiting until I got my escrow account back because I just refinanced my house. Oh well, you win some (I did get one of his last Arsenal AKs) and you lose some.
