No, I'm not confused at all ... as you say, the hook does not fully engage. There is no difference.

you're not? good. now go take your trigger, do what you want to the hook/engagement surface and let us know how it goes

i dont want to be rude, but you're not seeing the problem here with it and frankly you dont seem to want to listen...so i have no further interest in this.

good luck with your trigger if you choose to try anything with it, just please be safe.

That is the only issue with this mod...the saftey is blocked and cannot be used. That being said a custom saftey could be made to allow the use of it. This is however the only drawback and what you gain far outweigh this imho.

If you plan on marketing this I highly suggest you sell a modded safety as part of the package. If your trigger mod disables the safety your opening yourself up to SERIOUS liability.

not to bring this back from the dead, but...its Easter so why not (lol)

ive made alot of progress on this project...the trigger setup in my saiga 223 now rivals the remington 700 i had (with the tuned trigger)...which i know most people do not think they have very good triggers, but i believe that you would have to admit that their triggers are far better than any aks lol.

i am looking for someone willing to demo a tuned FCG set. i am asking that they simply pay for the cost off parts and shipping, the labor involved will be free, and all i want is a honest review of the function and work.

i can do two main types of tunes...a very short, moderate weight 2 stage trigger, roughly a 5#ish break on the second stage. i can also do a full out precision trigger, single stange with a 3# pull and break, only about 1/32" travel.

the whole kit will come with a hammer, disconnector and trigger, the reinforcement bottom plate, and a safety...all tuned to work together just right.

as far as the safety issue previously suffered from this, it has been fixed...my safes now offer a full lock up on the trigger...next to zero movement is allowed (if you pull hard enough, and i mean hard, you can move it back about 1/64ish...but that is pulling HARD...and even then the hammer will not release).

total cost for parts and shipping is 68 dollars. so i will ask $70 dollars, shipped to whoever wants to try it out...that price will not change even if it costs me more than that. also, if you do not like the trigger, simply return it to me and i will return your money.

    anyone interested?

I applaud your progress and success but the Easter Joke wasnt funny.

I do T&E for some products but IM usually provided the item for testing (I return them once done, and Im provided testing ammunition).

BTW, starting next month no advertising will be allowed by anyone who isnt a paying I.P.s. The yearly fee to MDS ($250.00) so you should get this off the ground fast if you plan on marketing it.

Well like i said...if they want to keep it they can and their only out the cost of parts...if not they can return it and ill return the money...seems fair to me.

Also, the easter joke...go file one of those hurt feelings reports you are so fond of...not trying to be rude but frankly i couldnt care less if you like it or not, you never have much consideration for other people, so why should anyone else show any to you?

Im not the only Christian here. The Site Owner is a Catholic so perhaps you should think hard about that one.

The I.P police, it's popular around here lately.

I guess the first guy to point out you can't sell things without paying up gets a gold star on the calendar or something.

I wasn't offended by the joke, and find it somewhat unAmerican when people attempt to censor humor if they think its about their religion.

Whats next, people getting upset over drawn cartoon characters? ;) :innocent0

Assuming they know how to remove the factory parts, if not - then you have to pay for Nem's travel expense, fuel and martini's. ;)

Making fun of or insulting another Faith is uncalled for. Its no different than making a rude/insulting comment about someones Mother, Wife, Father, or Children.

Yeah religious jokes and family jokes are a very significant line. Think about it for most people its the only two constants in life. They make up the very fabric of your being. And besides me and one member I know of don't believe in God we know he exists.
