I had this..
made into this..
MyGunsNorthWest did the build. It took about 6 months to get it back because he is that booked with builds. I already have a near pristine Yugo M70B1 that was built and hot blued by Red Jacket Firearms that I aquired a year ago but I saw this mess of a rifle a few months ago and had to have it.
It came back with the center section of the receiver bare steel from the build. I took a scotchbrite pad, brake cleaner for degreaser, and BirchWood Casey's SuperBlue and went to work. Some elbow grease and hours later, here it is. I think it looks pretty goddamn good for an amatuer. It's not perfect but neither is the rifle. It's hard to replicate decades of dirt, grime, sweat and tears.
Some may scoff at the wear and tear on it but I think it is BADASS the way it is .It is beat to shit and thats just the way I like it.
If only it could talk...
