Your new projects??

So now that all the informed members have started winding down there purchases what projects do you have and what are your plans? What other projects do you have in the works?

All I really got panic wise was an engage lower. My plan is to turn it into a replica of a Vietnam era AR15. Long triangle handguards, bayo lug, and birdcage. Otherwise I pretty much have what I am interested in.

I have been holding off buying my replica antique long tube scope for my Henry but I have to finish at project as well.

Later ill pick up a Remington 700 in 308, MAYBE 223 and build that into a fun toy and maybe a M&P but other then that I'm quite content. Except for any wheel guns, lord knows I love me some wheel guns

I've got 3 lowers to build and I'm starting a muzzleloader project.
1st lower, 20 inch retro look
2nd lower, 16 inch carbine length M4
3rd lower is gonna be a paperweight for a while, possibly a pistol build if Deep Creek Rock comes up with the right info for a barreled upper we've been eyeballing.

I've got 2 lowers to build, one will be a pistol. I'm going to buy an osprey suppressor for a new fnx tactical I just bought, then maybe add a Trijicon RMR to it. I also have a bone stock Colt 6920 to accessorize.

All of this is of course when I have a winning lottery ticket, because even the moths have left my wallet recently. I've got no fat in my checks for at least a year.

I have a few lowers to build...20" WOA SPR ordered...will do an 18" 3 gun setup as well.

Looking for a 30 cal suppressor that REALLY works for my R 700 AAC and then a manners stock and mini chassis.

Bunch of recievers to build out. I got an offer I couldn't refuse on my build kits though. I also want a 50bmg pistol upper for a steel lower I am welding up from Jack Squats flat spot.

Projects:
1. IDF-style M16A1 build. Almost done. Using a real 603 upper and appropriate non-trapdoor stock assembly/buffer. Still need to put on A2 handguards with the magic elastic band. Will need refinishing at some point, too. Looks real sexy, though. Surprisingly light.
2. PTR 91. I've listed my mods elsewhere, but the usual stuff, really. Planning on using a surplus Hensoldt scope if I can find one.
3. M1A Scout. Not sure what I want to do with this one. Already has an Ultimak, but no optics thus far. Wish I could get an underfolder stock for this and run it like a jungle gun.
4. Sig 556 SBR. Being built from a P556. Unsure whether I want to buy a new lower with Swiss-style stock or use a UBR. Thinking about running an Eotech on it, not sure how it would do with co-witness (eg, might need a QD lever).
5. Glock 17 SBR. Needs the usual internal Glock upgrades. Pondering running MP7A1 sights and a Z-Point on it, but the thought of spending $300 on MP7 sights makes me slightly ill. Might go with Troy Micros instead.
6. VEPR 54R. Almost done, but still need the monopod and 8x POSP. Wearing an SGM handguard and a Magpul PRS right now (the latter courtesy of the RD adapter). Muzzle device is some comp I picked up at CNCW.

Are you referring to an 1860 Henry ? I have one in 44-40. I wish it was 45LC.
I also just picked up a great deal on a Pedersoli Sharps in 45-70.
Then several Single action Rugers. I do love the Cowboy guns.

my newest project! Did an 8 day pickup from a MDS member on a lower. Picked it up yesterday, and installed the lower parts kit today. Just have to order my buffer tube, stocks, and an upper! Felt good starting my first build, sure was a lot easier then I had first thought.

I have 3 Adcor lowers to build. 2 complete lowers and 1 stripped. Now I just have to save up for my uppers.

1- varmint AR- Percision firearms .204 ruger upper with YHM TJ forearm, CTR stock, bipod, and 4-16x50 scope

2- long range/ hunting AR- 6.5 Grendel upper built by Bollinger's. 20inch bull barrel with YHM diamond series forearm, PRS stock, bipod, and 6-20x50 or 8.5-24x50 scope

3- fun AR- 7.62x39 upper, 14.5 inch YHM barrel with flash hider pinned and welded to put barrel lenght at 16.1 inch, CTR stock or wood stock (undecided), red dot, and 45deg iron sights

4- big cal AR- Rock River .458 Socom upper and 1-4 scope

Now I just need to win the lotto
