XM855 color variations

can their be different shades of green to indicate xm855. i have 2 different types of rounds, one has a olive green flat sheen colored tip and the other has a glossier forest green tip. are these both 855? thanks.

green is green.. probably just different type of paint they used.

Flat sheen is camo for combat use, glossy for range use.

A magnet will tell you if they are steel core quick enough. You must have one stuck to your fridge that you can use to check 'em.

does the olive green tip look like a different type of material than the rest of the jacket or is it just paint? M855A1 has a more olive colored tip.

they both attract a magnet. the one on the left is the olive green flat sheen color and i know is pmc 5.56 62 grain penetrator tip that i bought in the box. the other i bought loose with a mixed bag they were in. why are their marks on the the bullet on the right? thanks.

p.s. at times i thought the one on the right is black but i'm color blind so if it is dont think im too dumb.
