Nice rifle for a good price! Congrats!
You have a 1916 PTG that's been "Balkanized". By "PTG" I mean:
Barrel Shank markings/line by line (top to bottom)

    Tula
    Emperor
    Peter the Great
    Ordnance Factory

AKA - "Peter the Great" or "PTG".

By "Balkanized" I mean your rifle shows several cues by which almost all of the rifles imported from the Balkan area display. For your rifle they are:
    -scrubbed PTG eagle
-peened Imperial crest on top receiver flat
    -no cleaning rod
-vertical serial number stamped on the stock - near butt
-the font on the magazine plate screams Balkan. The buttplate will have same font.

What may be present, but not in pictures:
-A "circle B" on the right side of the barrel shank. Unknown origin-used to be thought it meant Bulgaria or Izhevsk. Not anymore.
-A pinecone stamp in one or more places on the stock. Look closely as they are sometimes hard to spot.

Hope this helps. Make sure to post pics when you take ownership!

You did good! Most Balkan 91s I've seen have been in much rougher condition than yours. The fact that it's a PTG is a nice touch also. While not rare they are a bit on the uncommon side. You snagged it for a VG price.
The end of the year is an excellent time to acquire. There are many collectors selling items to raise funds for holiday purchases and many of your erstwhile competitors are not bidding for the same reason. Leaves the field wide open for smart buys if you have the necessary funds available. I watched some nice items sell cheap in December, even with the overall jump in gun sales.

Congratuations. A nice rifle for a nice price, with definate "cool" value. I hope it is a good shooter for you. Some of those old M91s shoot great. The long barrel seems to steady shooting.
