He is catering to the Fudds, same tactic MoM used to push FSA. He wants to ban all semi automatic firearms that is the majority of all modern firearms, so people would be lim ited to pump, revolver, lever, black powder, break action, bolt action.

His vision for collectivism and redistribution of wealth is incompatible with the fundamental concepts of freedom and personal responsibility, which in turn means that his agenda is incompatible with the ownership of firearms.

    The voice of reason.

Facts do not matter anymore though. He is a socialist bordering on communist. As said his vision does not align with the ideals of freedom and liberty.

    Exactly

    This is spot on.

Wealth "imbalance" is a direct consequence of the same positive feedback loop that, if left unchecked, yields monopolies.

I put imbalance in quotes because it could easily be mistaken for "inequality", which is not the same thing. "Imbalance" here means that people of otherwise equivalent skill, capability, and effort wind up with very different amounts of wealth due to luck, who they know, government interference (which is often the result of who they know), and a whole host of other factors. Because of the aforementioned positive feedback loop, any initial difference ends up being magnified.

There is little that can really be done about it after the fact, and even less that can be done justly and fairly. About all that can be done is to prevent monopolies from forming and enforce things like truth in advertising.

No, market forces won't take care of the problem, because market forces are precisely why the positive feedback loop exists in the first place. But all the other known options (that I'm aware of anyway) are worse, as history clearly demonstrates repeatedly. Tyranny is not the answer to the inherent trait of the market to create imbalance. Nothing really is. It's just something we're going to have to put up with.

What we CAN do is to insist on government doing its proper job of preventing monopolies and maximizing awareness (e.g., through enforcement of truth in advertising laws) within the market, while insisting that it not engage in preferential treatment of players within the market. We won't fully succeed in that endeavor but it's the only real play we have.

These yahoos bitch about the companies getting richer. Yet, with all the money being pumped into the economy and stocks are overinflated, these said companies are making millions. Most big companies are publicly traded so they are making a killing. Then you get these aholes who did this now compaigning against corporations who they say is making money on the backs of the people.

Doesn't matter. He won't beat out Hillary.

Looking like Bush vs Hillary, so far.

Way too early to call Bush. A lot of time, money, and narrative left unspent--not to mention the prime donors are sitting on their money till the field narrows. Several candidates are pushing for the same pot of donor money (Bush, Rubio, Jindal at a minimum). Personally, I don't see Bush beating out the rest of the contenders. He could be a political genius and a natural leader, but his name alone would inflate Hillary's odds. His winning the GOP primaries counteracts the anti-dynasty arguments conservatives (and others) make against Hillary, too. Certainly this is a key consideration from prime donors as they wait for the best candidates to emerge.

And that is why I would give him an 'F'. Anyone who thinks they are solving our murder problem by getting rid of 'semi-automatic' rifles is a political hack at best.

He said the evil two words at the very end of that interview: "common sense"

That right there earns him an NRA "F" rating.

Why did the NRA endorse Kratovil over Harris? Politics.

They didn't think Harris could win, they would rather lay in bed with the devIL than support the right person if they didn't think the right person could win. There are those here that would do the same.

I'll save people the trouble of watching:

    "I respect rural hunters, but...."
    "Guns are for hunting."
    "Nobody needs military-style weapons."
"Gun show loophole, gun show loophole, gun show loophole!"
"Common sense ban on semi assault rifles."
"Common sense ban on high-capacity magazines."
    "We need instant background checks."

...all while trying to sound like he's completely on the side of gun owners.

    He's slick.

edit: AND, of course, all ratings and comments are DISABLED.... naturally.

    FIFY ...

    He's a self avowed "SOCIALIST"!!

    Bingo, we have a winner!

And an out-of-the-closet Communist based on his recent Tweet (above).

If the DNC puts him anywhere on the 2016 ticket, we need to turn out in droves to defeat him roundly and soundly, else we turn into a combination of Greece and Russia.
