I don't see how this nomination is going through in light of the pending announcement to change enforcement of immigration laws, specifically to prevent deportation of 5 million current illegal immigrations. Can they recess appoint an AG, or does their nuclear option enable a quick passage before the new Senate in January?

The R's will not allow anything to get out of committee, let alone on the floor, while Obummer is boasting over immigration.

Obummer isnt that smart to keep his mouth shut. :D

First questions to AG candidates ... will you help enforce the laws of the land through prosecution of illegal activity? Does the President dictate which laws you will uphold? What's to prevent an end run of other laws passed by elected representatives of the people if the President decides by fiat which laws he likes and which ones he doesn't want enforced? Does this set a dangerous precedence?

I'm not convinced they still won't go along to get along, despite the fact they hold ALL the cards now.:banghead:

If the Muslim-in-Chief goes through with this executive action, what more could the POS do that Boehner and McConnell DON'T think would rise to the level of an impeachable offense?:mad54:
