    Iron sights;
    Swedish CG68 (or is it CG63) 6.5x55 Mauser

    Scoped snipers:
    Remmy 1903/A4 Sniper and M91/30 Russian Sniper.

    The Swede and Remmy can print less than 1/2" groups @ 100 yds and the Rusky Sniper prints 5/8" groups at !00 yds.

    +1 for the Woodsman Match Target (Series II).
    Worst, the Romy TTC - it's horrible.
    rifle would be the Winchester 52 pre-A

    Swedish Mauser M96 with Carg Gustave receiver sight. Truely the easiest to shoot well. followed by my SMLE No 1 Mk3 with hand loads.

    I need to do a good, benched accuracy comparison with most of my stuff but from what
    I usually shoot, I get the best groups with my Swedish M96 Mauser. May be surprising to some, but my Type 38 Arisaka shoots almost, if not just as good as my Swede also.

    These are my picks as well, I shoot my best with them.

    Milsurp would be a 6 groove Smith-Corona 03A3. Some of my C&R vintage American sporting rifles are far more accurate. 1949 Remington 513T 22LR and a 5 shot target at 100 yards.
    A 1941 Winchester Model 75 that is just a step behind the Remington and for high power a 1953 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in 308 with a 3 shot 100 yard target.

    That Remington is sweet, but that Winchester is an absolute jewel. Between the way that rifle looks and the way it shoots, I'd have to send the wife to the couch, give it her pillow and sleep with that thing!:thumbsup:

    M1 Garand and M39 Finn. In part because compared to other military rifles of the era the sights are relatively easy to adjust.
