Went by Lou's tables at Upper Marlboro today and could not resist this little bargin he had for sale. It did not come with the scope. I put that on afterwards.



Not only did he have a few more of these at great prices but his handguns were so good, people were lining up to do the paperwork. All in all I think I did alright by Shooter's Discount.

I'm old enough to remember when Mini 14's were first introduced. Way before ARs. I always wanted one but have put off getting one for my collection due to other "good deals" that came by. I firmly believe that they are just as good or better than the standard AR. Hopefully this one won't prove me wrong.

I saw that Mini-14! I have the low rail that connects to the scope mounts if you want it - the way the scope is mounted, it may be a bit high - I can mail it to you. PM me if you are interested. It is yours free of charge if you want it.

It's basically an M1 carbine re-chambered in a rifle round (look at the gas system). It has all the same strengths and and some of the same weaknesses, but with the major bonus of a more powerful cartridge.
