Been a while since I have really participated here, although I have spent plenty of time browsing. Sorry about that.

Anyway, just under a year since we moved to MD, and now we turned around and bought a home in Charles Town, WV. Nice place, way more space and amenities for a bit over 200k than we would have found anywhere near commuting distance in either MD or VA. Plus, I went into the Walmart and saw Colt ARs and Bushmasters for close to pre-panic prices, and a dude OCing a Glock on his hip. So much more my pace than MD.

We are moving over the next month, so pretty stoked. Now I need to figure out where the gun shops and ranges are for the area, and all set!

Will do. Commute is gonna suck to DC, but my kids will have a yard to play in at $500 a month less, and I will be in a place much more relaxed than MoCo. And the new place has an in-ground pool!!

340 Defense in Rippon, just south of Charles Town
Tango Down in Hedgesville
Peacemaker in Gerrardstown (excellent if you're into 1000+ yard shooting)
