Walmart officials are meeting with the white house to discuss "gun violence in America". If Walmart or any of the other large corporations support any new gun legislation, I would call for movement to hit them where it hurts, in their wallets. This crony capitalism should not stand. I am done dealing with these companies that want our money and move to subjugate us in the background.

Lets not jump to any preconceived conclusions here.. The NRA was also invited to the "Blue Ribbon blah blah blah board". You never know, Walmart may actually stand up for the 2A and free markets...

I have been boycotting Autozone since that incident happened down in Yorktown. I have been boycotting Dick's ever since the a-hole and his manager years ago at the Waldorf store told me that they didn't have any .223 or 7.62 ammo because they didn't sell assault ammo. If Walmart decides to go the route of calling for more gun control. I have no problem boycotting them either but I like to go off of facts instead of rumors so until I know otherwise, there is no reason to attempt to hurt their business.

If you check the history of this meeting, Walmart originally said they would not attended. They were bullied by the White House and media until they agreed. Keep in mind they are one of the largest (if not the largest) firearms retailer in the US so they have a lot riding on the outcome.

I thought today's meetings were supposed to be the pro-2A community...the anti's day was yesterday.

I heard about this on NPR radio this morning

    "WHERE???"
I once wore an NPR shirt I was given to a clays shoot and got so much grief I couldn't believe it.
I once took some buddies who work for NPR as Engineers to a shoot, and later it was suggested I not bring them back. Funny thing is that these guys would work as Audio Engineers for porn films or baptist's conventions.
Don't admit you listen to NPR around here.

Exactly, I'll never go in another walmart

Today, I bought the only stock (4 boxes of Remington .223 that came in last night) at the local Walmart for $7.97 per box.

Walmart is not on my boycott list quite yet. :)

Walmart has donated tons of monies to obama and big time supported of obamaCare.

How else can you explain why, as early as 2009, Walmart surprised us all when they publicly expressed their support for Obamacare by joining with such unlikely partners as the Center For American Progress and the SEIU labor union to promote the passage of the Affordable Care Act—only to now use the law as a tool for ridding itself of the obligation to provide a healthcare benefit for many of its associates?

If Walmart gets behind an Obama scheme of gun or ammo control they will not see another penny of my money. If it happens I hope all 2A supporters feel the same as me and get behind a boycott of Walmart. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

I went to the Eldersburg Walmart this morning, and were sold out of most calibers. So I asked the lady, who worked the area, and she said that were not going to reorder at all. So what you see is what you get. So I think the Waltons said go f the gun community (IMO).

BTW the had a lot .40SW and some 7.62x39,
