Didn't know 2008's would be made with surplus parts. I just assumed they were all new century manufacture.

Century has recently been emphasizing that they have a line of all American-made firearms, including some AK variants. Sure wish they'd add the vz to that category. It's a great little rifle and well worth keeping in production somewhere.
